Nice to meet you,my name is Alessandra Ferragina and Im a graphic

designer based in Italy,I have a Bachelor degree of three-years in IndustrialDesign and a Master of Arts degree of two-years in Visualand Multimedia Communication.I want to work in the elds I love: graphic design,illustration and photography; in particulars Im looking foran international creative agency to make an abroad jobexperience, because I love living in new places and facingnew challenges.As a graphic designer Im good at using the Adobe Designpackage softwares: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash

and Premiere.Moreover Im able to manage editorial layout andvectorial illustration, I can work in the production andpost-production of videos and photos too; as a graphicdesigner and illustratore Im collaborating with a creativedesign blog www.creazina.it (a young collective of Italiandesigners).I have a personal deep passion for photography, bothartistic and commercial ones: I followed courses-stageand I applied at different contests, Id like to apply myselfas a photographer, sooner or later.In conclusion, under the web design knowledge, I can saythat I have a basic experience using html, golive, css, butmost of all wordpress.

The UN organization called the 2011 as the year to say no to violence against woman and,as a graphic designer, I entered the call with two posters about it.Even if I did not win the contest, my project has been chosen as one of the few to beexhibited at the Danish O.N. in many cities of Denmark (Copenhagen too).

HP made a call for entries in 2010 to design a short videowhich objective was to explain the main problems in beinga pc user: the target was young children and begginner

users.Among the subjects my contest-mates and decided to make

a ash animation focusing on the virus effects and what todo in order to delete them from our pc.The video has been made up using Flash and Illustrator underthe supervision of my Professor Riboli Davide.

Instant Carnival is a role-play game that allows you to take partin Carnival event with your friends or other groups of players.Its suited especially for tourists, but everyone can enjoy it:

dont worry about your shyness or to be recognized becauseyou can get a paper mask for free in the most important

information centres in Venice. The only requirements are amobile phone and be in the right mood for it.I designed it with Giuseppe Burdo, Matteo Catacchio and KuiWang.

50m turistic guide is a concept for an unconventional turistic guide designed with the

intention to move the turists eye away from the obvious and conventional turistic spots tosomething really local and interesting that is only 50meters from there: it forced the point

of view of the traveller to change direction and try something else.

I found a no-prot venture with two friends of mine, designers too.

The project is intended to be a double-contest (graphic contest and ideas-projects contest) for raising funds and nding out interesting solving-problems
