quality and optimum processability are concerned.

And it is in particular the company‘s proximity to its

customers that has made FERON the market and tech

nology leaders in selected segments of paper, plastic

films, metal foils and metal strips. We meet our custom

ers’ daytoday challenges with all our enthusiasm and

knowhow – finding the optimum final product is the

result of systematic further development and a joint

effort. By developing tailormade solutions for efficient

production processes, we want to help our customers

A s a specialist in web coating and laminating ma

terials, FERON has also made itself a name world

wide in the area of high quality interior design. Through

the use of FERON coated materials, renowned manu

facturers ensure that their products not only visually

impress at first glance, but also keep their good looks

over the long term.

FERON’s own developments like postforming capable

primer, surfaces with colour depth similar to piano lac

quer or scratch and scrub resistant coatings make the

products unique, clever solutions in terms of process

ing and the quality of the final product.

Exemplary selection

C lassic, trendy or nonconformist – FERON coatings

will allow the creative freedom you need to stay

ALUMINIUM

A luminium surfaces provide a literally cool combi

nation of highquality technology and futureori

entated design. That‘s because the cool sheen of the

material and the particular structure of aluminium will

be visible even after coating due to our special finishing

options. Thus, counters, bars and kitchens get their mod

ern industrial touch, doors an attractive framework and

electrical devices a housing suitable to their hightech

interior. The processing is done on the HPL, CPL, or short

cycle process as well as lamination or vacuum grouting.

Alongside the decorative use an engineering usage is

possible (e.g. vapour barrier material).

MAgNEtIC BOARD FOILS

W hile developing our magnetic board foil provided

with primer on both sides, simple processing

using the HPL process was our target.

A particularly good magnetic adhesion when compared

with a very low weight also makes them versatile, for

instance for white boards in conference rooms or for

children’s furniture.

tExtURINg RELEASE FOILS

D uring the manufacture of highpressure laminates,

texturing release foil is applied aluminiumside

down to decorative paper. The aluminium gives a de

fined gloss level and the paper provides the structure.

Texturing Release Foils

• Available either dull or glossy

• For different structures different kinds of paper

are available, starting from 40 g/m2

• Manufacturing as sheets and reels, as needed

• 12 µm aluminium foil

15

Magnetic Board Foils

• Primer on both sides

• Free choice of facedecor during HPL process

• Manufacturing as sheets up to a max. width

of 1,250 mm

• 100 µm thick foil plus coatings

FURNItURE FILMS

U ncompromisingly beautiful: In comparison to more

expensive alternative lacquering systems, FERON’s

furniture film particularly stands out due to its unique

abrasionresistant surface coatings.

The exceptional colour depth of our highgloss designs

meets the highest design requirements, and the very

good postforming capability facilitates the manufac

turing processes. Of course, wood decors also belong

to our standard programme, but in addition to that, we

are open to jointly developing exclusive decors with you.

Highly sophisticated Decorative furniture films

• Resistant to abrasion through the use

of nanotechnology

• Available either dull or glossy

• Available as uni colour or wood decor

• Individual, exclusive decor and colour possible

• Special colour depth, especially in black decor

• Environmentally friendly due to the nonuse

of PVC

• Manufacturing as sheets or reels, as needed,

up to a max. width of 1,420 mm

• 400 µm thick laminate consisting

of a PP and a coated PET film
