Liquid Aluminium Sulphate is supplied as a saturated

solution with the empirical formula:

This may be alternatively expressed as :

The Al O content of the product is 8% w/w – hence the 2 3

Industry Standard description of the product as ‘8%

Aluminium Sulphate’.

In Aluminium terms the product contains 4.2% w/w,

and as Aluminium Sulphate it contains 26.8% w/w.2.1 Bulk Tanker
