VENUE INFORMATION

The reception rooms at Fennes are elegant and spacious, seating parties from20 to 600 guests theatre-style for civil ceremonies and up to 400 for banqueting. We are one of only a few venues that can accommodate up to600 guests in a single function room.

Within the manor house there are four reception rooms that provide an idealspace for receiving your guests. Our two wedding pavilions adjoin the houseand both are licensed for civil ceremonies, as is the outside gazebo. The pavilions are dressed with silk-lined walls and a state-of-the-art starlight ceiling; perfect for both the ceremony and the wedding celebrations.

The grounds are an enchanting area to hold reception drinks and the bridgewater feature makes for stunning photo opportunities.

CEREMONIES

Within the house there are a number of reception rooms in which to host thevarious aspects of your day. You will have full use of the house and grounds foryour reception party.

The stunning silk-lined Pavilion and Banqueting Hall are licensed for civil ceremonies. They are beautifully lit, with elegant chandeliers, wall sconcesand state-of-the-art LED starlight ceilings. The reception rooms within thehouse are also licensed to host smaller civil ceremonies.

The Pavilion can seat up to 330 guests theatre-style (Dimensions: 11.7m x 29.2m).

The Banqueting Hall can seat up to 600 guests theatre-style (Dimensions: 35.4m x 10.8m).

The Gazebo within the gardens is licensed for civil ceremonies and can hostup to 600 guests.

All the rooms are able to accommodate your traditional layouts:• Mandaps with sacred fires• Nikah ceremonies can be held, using separate rooms• Chuppahs• Greek weddings

BANQUETING

The silk-lined Pavilion and Banqueting Hall both have full heating and air-cooling systems, with a dance floor and stage affording you more choice, totalflexibility and a completely unique, tailor-made experience.

The Pavilion can seat up to 200 guests for banqueting (Dimensions: 11.7m x 29.2m).

The Banqueting Hall can seat up to 400 guests for banqueting. (Dimensions: 35.4m x 10.8m).

We are able to provide kitchen facilities for your caterers, or can recommendcaterers to suit your individual needs. It is also possible for our in-house chefsto provide a culture-specific menu.

The Pavilion and Banqueting Hall can be set out in a number of different ways.Our dedicated Wedding & Events Manager will assist you with room layouts.

Our beautiful Bridal Changing Room is available for the morning of your wedding. This is a perfect area to pamper yourself on your special day.

Our luxurious Bridal Cottage, situated in a private area of the estate grounds,is sumptuously decorated with a beautiful four-poster, superking-sized bedand Jacuzzi bath, offering the ultimate in luxury.

Fennes boasts seven additional rooms with uninterrupted views of the estate.Your family and close friends are welcome to join you for breakfast the morning following your celebrations.

We also offer our rooms to your guests, at a reasonable rate during the wedding day, on an individual basis.

A wide range of accommodation to suit all budgets is available locally for yourguests.

By roadIf approaching via the M11 exit at junction 8A, then merge onto the A120 towards Braintree.

Once you arrive at the outskirts of Braintree, follow signs for Sudbury A131.This will take you on and around the bypass. Look out for Broadfield Nursery(see map) on your right, then take the next left onto Church Street, signpostedFennes Fisheries. Then take the fourth turning on the right into Fennes Road.We are one mile down Fennes Road.

If travelling via Sudbury or Haverhill, on the approach to Braintree turn right ata signpost for ‘Fennes Fisheries’ to take you into Church Street.Then take thefourth turning on the right into Fennes Road. We are one mile down FennesRoad. (Our postcode for Sat Nav is CM7 5PL).

By TrainBraintree Station is in the town centre from where we are a short taxi rideaway. National Train Enquiries - 08457 484950.

By AirFennes is situated about 15 miles or a twenty minute taxi journey from LondonStansted airport.
