Female Circumcision: Unknown Happenings Beyond the U.S

Egypt, among many places in Africa, has women who are subjected to female

circumcision mainly because of religion and the lack of women’s rights, but Inter-African Committee shows the power of

one by creating awareness, making women’s rights programs and having a

day of zero tolerance to female circumcision to help protest to the

practice.
