i . The N.E.C. shall consist of a President, aix Vice Presidents,

Treasurer, General Secretary and 20 other members, to be elected

at the National Conference*

ii. The N.E.C, shall meet not less than twice a y*«r. The quorum for

the N.E.C. shall be a majority of the members of the Committee

including officials.

iii* In electing the National Executive Committee the Mjority of

members m;3t bo elected who reside within 20 miles of the head­quarters of the organisation.

iv. The N.ii.C, shall have the power to fill vacancies ar.d co-opt

members to itself.

v. The N.E.C. shall have the power to establish regional and branch

committees in any area, define the areas of'jurisdiction of regions

or branches, and do all other things aa m the opinion of the N.E.C.

are in the interests of the organisation and its membership.

vi. The N.E.C. may delegate functions to sub-committeea.

vii. Members of the National Executive Ccamttee nay attend all conferences and meetings of the Federation.

The site of the Federation'-a Head Office shall be determined by the National

Conierer.ee or by the National Executive Committee.

7. FIN3LNCE

t. The funds a/id property of the organisation shall be vested in the N.E.C.

which may deal with them according to its discretion. The N.E.C. is

authorised to open banking accounts and to appoint any three of its

n>- abors as signatories in connection with such accounts.

Any of the provisions of the Constituti':- may b< repealed, amended or

added to ir. any !sanner by a majority of ’ !; N..J.C. 3ubjoct to the

approval of the next National Conference; nr by u majority decision

of the National Conference. Two months noti :• of such amendment must

first be given to all regions and branches and all affiliated bodies..

10. fiXF'lSION:

1. The N.E.C. shall have the power to expel a branch or break off

relations' with any affiliated organisation wh^ch may act in any

way that is prejudicial to the aims, objects and policies of the

Organisation.

2. Any such branch or organisation may upp ai igamst the decision

of the N.E.C. and such appeal shall be considered at their next

meeting.

11. DI3J0UJTI0N:

In the event of the Organisation being dissolved, the balance of its

funds snail be used fcr such purposes as may be decided fcy a majority

of the N.E.C. members, provided that it is for a cause that has

similar aims to the Organisation.

The Organisation may sue or be sued in its own name, and the liability

of member organisations shall be limited to the amount ol subscriptions

paid for the last year by that member organisation.
