WHERE IS OUR SCHOOL?

• Our school is in Ripollet, a small town near Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain.

• It is a beautiful town with 30,000 people

• It is near the Ripoll river.

• It is in the Valles Occidental.

• Ripollet is surrounded by other towns.

SPAIN

• Spain is a country in Europe and Catalonia is in Spain.

• It is a warm and sunny country

• Traditional Spanish foods include: tortilla de patatas (potato omelette), paella and churros. Traditional Catalan foods include: calçots, escudella and crema catalana.

• Flamenco, Sevillanas or Jotas are traditional dances in Spain. Sardana is the traditional dance in Catalonia.

• In some places in Spain, you can find lots of bulls, and see bull fights.

OUR SCHOOL

• We are a small school with around 280 students.

• Our school is a “green school”, and we do lots of things to help the environment

• We have a conversation assistant to help us learn English.

• We listen to music every morning before starting the classes.

ENGLISH AT OUR SCHOOL

• We have special conversation classes in groups to practice speaking.

• We make plays to reinforce our learning and to teach younger students vocabulary.

• We study subjects such as art and science in English.

• We do lots of activities in our English classes to practice.

ABOUT OUR CLASS

• This presentation was made by class six.

• We are 11 to 12 years old.

• We have been studying English in our school since we were 3!

• We enjoy theatre class, our English conversation classes and PE.

• We are not just a class, we are all friends.
