Spring Recruitment

We had an incredibly successful recruitment for

Spring. Thanks to Arvind and Team B we have

recruited 10 new AIESECers.

Brian, Joseph, Grace, Ann, Amro, Haney, Richard,

George, Allen, and Zahra—Welcome to the family.

Portfolio Party

OGX

This is the first time AIESEC KPU has implemented an

OGX portfolio and we are proud to say that VP OGX Sam

and Team B have recruited 5 potential Exchange

Participants (EPs) to go away this summer. Richard

recently held his first EP training session and our EPs are

searching for their summer internships!

COMM

COMM has already achieved 2/10 Brand Aligned Media

Appearances (BAMAs) for the year! We had an article

published on our school website and a radio interview with

BCIT radio aired late February. If you have any ideas for

stories we could publish or any connections within media

please contact VP COMM Hardeep.

CR

Stevie and Saveena have raised 2 more TNs! Agranee

solutions has taken a total of 3 interns from us. Valay, our

first intern is enjoying Montreal right now, but he misses us

too. Kitply Industries will be taking interns shortly.

Marketing Blitz

Warm up those fingers and get your phones ready! The

marketing blitz will be happening from March 5th-9th and

AIESEC KPU will be participating for our 1st time. For

more details contact VP CR, Dereck Kankam.

Finance

This is the first time we have started a finance portfolio

and we have applied for AIESEC KPU to have a summer

marketer for the first time as well! A selected member from

the CR portfolio could be paid by the government to

perform cold calls, attend networking events, and go on

marketing calls for the summer. Let’s hope we get

approved!

Conference Mania!

Coastal 2012

Coastal 2012 hosted by UVic in Victoria was nothing short of

awesome and our 18 delegates will agree! This was AIESEC

KPU’s largest delegation at a conference…so far. We even won

“best roll call”. The best part about this conference was seeing

everyone participate and represent proudly.

NLDC 2012

Did you miss out on Coastal 2012? Have no fear, NLDC is

approaching!

Why: To network, learn, & get the full AIESEC experience

When: May 2nd- 6th

Where: Toronto, Ontario

Who: Over 300 students from 28 universities across Canada

AIESEC DAY

March 5th is AIESEC day.

We are AIESECers.

We need to spread awareness about the AIESEC

program!

Update your status, mass tweet everyone, and wear your

AIESEC pride this Monday.

To show unity and create a buzz, we as an LC will all have

the same Facebook picture on Monday and a Facebook

status to go with it.

Please post this is as your profile picture

Please update your Facebook status stating what you love about AIESEC

followed by: “Happy AIESEC day”.

Example: AIESEC gave me a chance to put theory to practice. Happy

AIESEC day.
