Hope you are all well! January has now passed with its horrific cold and the first part of February looks like a roller coaster ride with temps in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. In 5 or 6 weeks we change to Daylight Savings time and perhaps some flying in March. Hope you are working on some project to pass the days constructively, be it an ARF, a kit or from plans. Don’t hesitate to bring it to a meeting for show and tell. It is always nice to see planes, RC equipment, etc at our monthly meetings. During the January meeting you were asked to jot down some ideas for events, etc. for our 50th anniversary in 2014. Thank You for your input. I would now like to organize a couple of committees to further develop these ideas with definitive plans over the next several months, more about this at the February 8 meeting. Please do not hesitate to make suggestions for club events this year. It would be nice to hold a couple of different events. Please check the LHMAC website for the calendar of events, there are several events and dates which have been added for 2013. I requested several dates and rain dates for the float flys at Acme from Mr. McCloskey but have not yet received any confirmation. The Prez Says

Murraysville Auction02/03/2013

Sunday, February 3rd, was the Semi-AnnualMurraysville Auction at the American Legion Hallin Export, PA. We had several LHMAC members inattendance to buy and sell. I don't think it was asbig as the last one in November, probablybecause of the inclement weather and forescastsfor the day. The auction seemed to go well, andthere were some excellent bargins to be had. Thenext MARCS Auction is scheduled to be inNovember, 2013. The date hasn't been set yet,but will be posted in upcoming events.

Below are some snap shots at the auction.
