To start, there will be volunteer kits available for check out. These kits will contain project work that can be done in hour increments in the library, with the li- brary providing all of the materials and those seeking to volunteer being able to do so at their convenience. If volunteer hours need to be tracked for school, church, or other groups, this will not be a problem as check out and check in times for the kits will be recorded by circulation staff! If there is enough interest in volunteering, the library will consider developing a community volunteer squad – linking those who need help with those who are looking to provide volunteer hours. Look for more on this in the coming year! In the meantime, come in and check out our new volunteer kits – pun intended!
