PERFORMANCE TASK
*Today you will read three pieces of texts:*Song Lyrics-
“Young Love”
*An article- “30 Percent of U.S. Teen Girls Meet Up With Online Strangers”
*Novel Excerpt- “Until We Meet Again”
Today we will look back at: Song Lyrics: “Young Love” By: Chris Brown, The article: “30 Percent of U.S. Teen Girls Meet Up With Online Strangers.”
Then take a look at: A novel excerpt: “Until We Meet Again”
As we look at the pictures, song lyrics, article and novel excerpt, we will discuss the textual evidence and your thinking as a group and then as a class.
Students will receive a small pink paper that contains the constructed response grading rubric .—We will go over this, so students know what is expected of them.
Individually students will create a constructed response that answers the question “In what ways can relationships aff ect your life?”
Students will use the blank area on the back of their worksheet looking at the framework SEEC that guides them to create their response.
