Welcome to worship, Christian education and fellowship as the
body of Christ! Please join us for refreshments in the Fellow-
ship Hall after the morning worship service.
This morning we welcome the following new members to Car-
mel Church. Pam Woelber through transfer from Trinity CRC,
Rock Valley; Ron and Vera Dieck through transfer from New
Life Reformed, Sioux Center; and Paul and Stephanie Schelling,
and baptized children, Josie, Braylee and Kace from Bethel CRC,
Sioux Center. We also welcome Manny Ramos into the commu-
nicant family of Carmel Church through profession of faith. May
God bless them richly as we serve the Lord together.
Special thanks to Jo Luevano for her ministry in music this
morning; and to Russ Vande Vegte for his ministry in music this
evening.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Uphold in Prayer Karrigan Wolfswinkel had an emergency appendectomy in the Sioux
Center Hospital and returned home.
Trish Sandbulte receiving Chemotherapy for Colon Cancer.
Brian Renes will be in Zimbabwe, Africa this week for final work on a
Study Bible.
Carmel VBS. Pray for all the preparations that go into VBS and that the
needed teachers and helpers will volunteer.
Praying for our local congregations: This week please be in
prayer for God’s blessing for the First Reformed Congregation,
and the ministries of Pastors Travis Else and Jamie Dykstra.
Please help us to help you: When you have an illness, accident,
upcoming surgery, birth or death in the family, or other needs,
please notify one of the elders or the church office.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sean Robinson (Kassidy Van
Voorst) who were united in marriage on Saturday in Carmel
Church. May God bless them with a long and happy married life.

passing of our dad and grandfather, Bernie Mulder. A special

Pastor Mike will offer a class in the chapel today from 11:05-
11:45 from the “Knowing God” book by J.I. Packer. You do not
need the book to attend. This week’s study “How God Guides
Christians” from chapter 20. This class is for anyone who wants
to learn how God guides us. Everyone is welcome.
Needed for VBS: • Sour cream, cottage cheese or large yogurt LIDS. Only lids.
Put your items in the container near the mailbox.
If you did not see a bulletin from last week Sunday, extra
copies are on the coffee station.
If you were unable to attend the CWM Lenten Breakfast,
there is a DVD available at the church office of the Lenten
Breakfast that you can check out.
Seeking host families for Japanese students this summer.
The dates are July 16-August 17. Prayerfully consider sharing
your culture, home, heart and faith with a student. Be a mission-

The Inspirations from Bryson City, NC will present a benefit
Gospel Music Concert on Saturday, April 28, 6:30 p.m. at BJ
Haan Auditorium. Tickets will be $15.00 at the door only. All
proceeds from the concert benefit the ministries of Hope Haven.
FINAL WEEK FOR
SUNDAY SCHOOL MISSION PROJECT
COLLECTION
The Sunday School will be doing one more special collection for
the Sunday School Mission Project. During the month of April
we will be collecting
100% real fruit juice boxes Fruit cups
Applesauce cups Jell-O cups
Pudding cups Gallon size Ziploc bags
They can be put in the Rubbermaid container marked SS Mission
near the mailboxes in the Fellowship Hall.
Are you interested in how to care in a distinctively Christian
Way or how to minister to those experiencing grief? Then you
should attend an introductory workshop to Stephen Ministry. A
half day workshop will be held on Saturday, April 28 in Sioux
Falls, SD. For more details and how to register, see the poster
on the bulletin boards or talk to Henry Sandbulte for more in-
formation.
