Written Programs were developed, but we were not getting information widely distributed.

Two plus years of train-the-trainer sessions with Marsh.

Continuation of providing train-the-trainer type sessions.

Develop an initial assessment protocol.

Introduced in May of 08 and finalized in the fall of 08.

Continuation of providing train-the-trainer type sessions.

Assessments scheduled with departments and agencies – these turned into discussions.

No scores given – but had discussions of what to expect moving forward

Focused on first 17 Chapters of the Safety Manual

Some departments and agencies are well ahead of the curve

What we want?Montgomery County is a known leader in the way

we manage our Workers Compensation claims.

We are striving to reach that same level with respect to hazard avoidance and injury prevention.

We provide templates and usable tools

Program can be customized or tailored to each department’s or agency’s needs

OSHA/PERRP requirements are minimum standards – we want to strive to exceed their requirements
