Written Programs were developed, but we were not getting information widely distributed.
Two plus years of train-the-trainer sessions with Marsh.

position in Risk Management
Continuation of providing train-the-trainer type sessions.
Develop an initial assessment protocol.
Introduced in May of 08 and finalized in the fall of 08.
Continuation of providing train-the-trainer type sessions.
Assessments scheduled with departments and agencies – these turned into discussions.
No scores given – but had discussions of what to expect moving forward
Focused on first 17 Chapters of the Safety Manual
What I learned from 09 Meetings
Some departments and agencies are well ahead of the curve
Other departments and agencies are well behind the curve
What we want?Montgomery County is a known leader in the way
we manage our Workers Compensation claims.
We are striving to reach that same level with respect to hazard avoidance and injury prevention.
