Why Pray for Vocations? The Church’s need for priests is growing. As priests die and retire, not enough men are being ordained to replace them. “Considering that the Eucharist is the greatest gift our Lord gives to his Church, we must ask for priests since the priesthood is a gift for the Church. We must pray insistently for this gift. We must ask for it on our knees.” ~ Pope John Paul II. Please think about taking the Vocations Cross home every week. Sign up sheets are in the bulletin. In the bag there is a Cross and suggested prayers. Thank you. Fr. Joseph and the Pastoral Council

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the mes-sage, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Roman 10:17 Hearing the word of god is extremely important to our faith. To see if we can improve the sound quality, we are putting temporary speak-ers throughout the church. Based upon your input we will decide what to do next. Thank you for your patience. Thank you Mario venti for lending his expertise and speakers for this endeavor and kathy, his wife for her helping setting up the speakers. Fr. Joseph.

Jubilee Year of Mercy Prayer Lord Jesus Christ, You are visible face of the invisible Father, Of the God who manifest his power above all by forgiveness and mercy: Let the church be your visible in the world, Its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers s would also be clothed in weakness In order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: Let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God. We ask this of you, Lord Jesus, through the interces-sion of Mary, Mother of Mercy, you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen
