2008 Cub Scout Family Spring Rocket Academy
Because of the popularity of this event and in order to accommodate all in an organized fashion we will hold two(2) weekend sessions. Session A will be held March 28 – 30 and Session B will be held on April 4-6, 2008. Reservations for each session will be limited to 600 people total. So get your reservations in NOW!
Who: Open to all Cub Scouts and their FamiliesWhen: Session A: March 28-30 Session B: April 4-6Where: Firestone Scout ReservationCost: $25.00 per Cub Scout (includes rocket)$25.00 per any family member (includes rocket)$18.00 per any family member (no rocket)(Children 4 yrs. and under are free. Come join the Los Angeles Area Council in celebrating Cubs rocketing into Space at Firestone Scout Reservation. This event is open to all Cub Scouts and their families. Both session A & B weekend events will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and will last until Sunday morning around 9:30 am

100 Years of Scouting
• In February 2010, the Boy Scouts of America will celebrate 100 years as an organization. Founded as an outlet to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a participating citizen and leader, BSA has more than fulfilled its mission.
