TEA, TRENDS AND TRANQUILITY HONORS MAYOR CAROLYN GOODMAN

FRAMING HOPE WAREHOUSE LAUNCHES

On Monday, September 16, 2013, HELP of Southern Nevada launched the Framing Hope Warehouse program (through a partnership with The Home Depot Foundation managed by Good360) with a ribbon cutting ceremony held in the warehouse at 1600 E. Flamingo at the HELP campus.

Do you represent a Las Vegas area non profit? Learn how you can benefit from Framing Hope Warehouse - Contact Albert Weiss at 702-836-2142.

On Wednesday, October 30th 2013, HELP of

Southern Nevada honored City of Las Vegas

Mayor Carolyn Goodman at the 14th Annual Tea,

Trends and Tranquility event. Guests gathered at

the Four Seasons Resort for food, fashion and

philanthropy. The afternoon featured a fashion

show by select retail merchants from Planet

Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops; delicious tea

provided by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf; a silent

auction and psychic readings by Mystic Mona.

The Grand Opening was held inside the Framing

Hope warehouse.

Mayor Carolyn Goodman did the honors at the

Framing Hope ribbon cutting ceremony.

Attendees enjoyed a lavish silent auction and raffle.

All were invited to wear their best hat for the tea.

DONATE $100 TO HELP BUILD THE NEW

SHANNON WEST HOMELESS YOUTH CENTER

This year, HELP of Southern Nevada will

break ground on a new Shannon West

Homeless Youth Center, relocating our

youth from the homeless corridor and

increasing our beds from 65 to 110.

HELP's 65 beds represent 44% of the

existing accommodations in Las Vegas for

housing homeless youth. With a bigger

and better facility, we can help more

youth. This is why the need is so great.

How can you help? You can give the gift of community. When you encourage your family,

friends and colleagues to provide financial support, together we can build a new center for our

youth and meet this great need. If 1,000 HELP supporters each asked 50 friends to give

$100, we can raise $5,000,000 to build the New Shannon West Homeless Youth Center.
