OUTDOOR RECREATION

Ski Weekend at Oberammergau and Garmisch, Germany

Night Sledding in Interlaken, Switzerland: 2 dates

montafon, austria: the First nike snowpark in the alps

snowshoeing in the black forest

St. anton, austria: the apres-ski capital of europe

Montafon provides a total of 44 individual pistes. The Montafon lift pass allows you to ski or snowboard in either of the ski resorts of Gargellen and St. Gallenkirch. For cross country skiers there are 100 km of tracks and the overall length of the hiking trail network even beats that number. Additionally, the Nike Snowpark Montafon is the most creative and largest park north of the Alps for freestylers.

•Fee covers transportation to and from ski/board area only. Participant responsible for lift tickets and equipment rental (equipment can be fitted & rented at ODR prior to trip).

This quintessential Bavarian village complete with woodcarving shops, wall murals, and graceful ski hills is perfect for families and beginners. This trip includes two days of skiing/boarding. A shuttle to a local indoor water park is also provided. On Sunday the shuttle will drive to Garmisch so people can ski/board the Garmisch area as well.

•Price includes transportation, lodging, breakfast, shuttles, and equipment rental from ODR. Lift tickets are not included and are the responsibility of the participant. •Adults: $199, Teen (13-17): $169, Youth (6-12):$139, Child (5 and under): $99

Travel from Interlaken high into the Swiss Alps, take in the starlit winter panorama and then zip down the one hour long sled run that ends at a small local restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional Swiss cheese fondue dinner - a great combination of winter fun, nature, and Swiss traditions. Night sledding is suitable for everybody.

•Price includes transportation, lodging in a hostel, breakfast, shuttles, sled run, cheese fondue dinner, and ski bus pass.

St. Anton and the surrounding ski areas are some of the most beautiful places in the Austrian Alps. Located in the Tyrol region, the picturesque town of St. Anton draws people back each winter for its challenging skiing and riotous nightlife. Enjoy over 200 miles of groomed skiing or 120 miles of backcountry riding all under one ski pass! It’s been voted the Apres Ski Capital of Europe and the Alps on several occasions and for good reason.

•Fee covers transportation to and from ski/board area only. Participant responsible for lift tickets and equipment rental (equipment can be fitted & rented at ODR prior to trip).

Get some winter exercise and enjoy the majesty of the Black Forest blanketed with snow. Strike out into the forest on newly fallen snow with confidence inspired by your footwear. Snowshoeing is a safe and a relatively easy activity that can be enjoyed by anyone. Suitable for the whole family this fun-filled trip should be experienced at least once!

•Price includes transportation, guide and snowshoes.

They’ve done all the planning and will transport you round-trip to each of these amazing destinations for the rest of the ski season. For additional information about all ski/board areas and trips call DSN 431 2774 | CIV 07031 15 2774 or visit www.stuttgart.armymwr.com
