The Chakra Institute and Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar invite you on a pilgrimage of self-inquiry and sacredness with one of the most revered saints and to some of the most sacred destinations in the land of India. On this journey, we have the golden opportunity to learn about Vedanta from one of the greatest teachers ever. Swamiji, 93 years of age, will teach us about the most cherished Jewel of Vedanta, Naishkarmya Siddhi, the power of karma-free action. When we acquire this siddhi (power) we live a life of joy.
Swamiji has granted the group darshans (visits of blessing), from February 14th to the 19th. Mataji, a living model of Vedanta philosophy, may also be available for darshans. Their intimate ashram is situated in a peaceful environment in a village nine kilometers from Mysore.

February 13 Arrive in Bangalore
Upon arrival, meet driver for trip to the hotel. After a brief acclimation in Bangalore, the group will depart in cars for the three hour drive to Mysore. February 14 Arrive in Mysore by car

Auspicious visits with Swamiji and Mataji, the experience of a lifetime. February 19 Depart for Bangalore by car. Fly non-stop to Rishikesh February 20 - 26 Visit the sacred cities of Rishikesh , Haridwar, and Dev Prayag
Visit ancient temples including the Tapkeshwar Temple, situated on the bank of a river that adds to the beauty of the holy place. One of the oldest Shiva lings is in the cave nearby where the river enters and water drops drip down on the Shiva ling. The small cave with this splendid scenery is said to be once resided by Dronacharya- the teacher of Pandavas and Kauravas in Hindu holy epic Mahabharata written by Ved Vyas. Our teacher Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar, received his first mantra from his Guruji in this cave temple in 1948.
Experience sunset Aarti at the Ganga in Reishkesh
In Dev Prayag, partake of a sacred, purify bath where the three sacred rivers flow. February 27 Depart Rishikesh for Delhi February 27 – 28 Delhi
Special darshans with Sri Karunamayee, the spiritual heart of the Aurobindo Ashram. Immerse in the akaasha created as she sings sacred mantras.
Program Details Participation Limited to 20 participants, this Journey entails walking moderate distances. Participants should be ready to travel as part of a group and experience cultural differences with grace. Conservative, modest dress is recommended.

New participants only, please send a small non-returnable photo, a telephone number (and best time to call) with a short autobiography. You will be contacted for an interview. If not selected for this Journey, new participants deposit will be returned immediately.
Flight Suggestions**
Americans to depart for Bengalore on February 11 with return flight at Delhi Airport, and Europeans to depart on the morning of February 12, will be picked up from Bengalore airport on February 13, providing they avail of these flights:
Air France: JFK to Paris to Bengalore KLM (Air France partner): non-stop Delhi – Amsterdam Air France: non-stop Delhi/Paris/New York **All participants will be picked up from Bengalore airport on February 13 and dropped back at Delhi airport on March 1. Those who wish to reach the hotel in Bangalore directly on the Feb ,13th will be provided with the address.

Cancellations All cancellations must be received by The Chakra Institute, Inc. in writing. Cancellations received 40 days prior to departure: full refund less $1,000 deposit per person; 20 days prior to departure: 50% refund per person after non-refundable deposit of $1,000. No refunds after this date.
