Economic News The European Union reduced their euro‐area 2019 growth forecast to 1.3% down from 1.9% that was projected in November. The Bank of England (BOE) cut their 2019 growth forecast to 1.2% down from 1.7% amid growing Brexit concerns. The BOE also voted last week to keep interest rates at 0.75%. The U.S. Department of Labor reported new jobless claims, week ending 2/2/19 decreased 19,000 to 234,000.
