MEET THE DIRECTORS! Mr. Jeremy Alfera

Marysville High School Choir Director, Swingers Unlimited Director/Choreographer, Mini Swingers Choreographer

Mr. Alfera is happy to be in his seventh year as the Vocal Music Director at Marysville High School. He received his Bachelors of Music Education

at The Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, Mr. Alfera was involved in many ensembles, operas, and musical reviews . For the past 13

years, Mr. Alfera has been an active adjudicator, music arranger and choreographer for show choirs all over the country. He has attended Show-choir Camps of America where he has served as an accompanist & counselor for 12 years. Mr. Alfera would like to thank his friends, family, and

Marysville High School Choir Director, Swingers Unlimited Instrumental Combo Director

Mr Robertson is greatly enjoying his eighth year as Choral Director in the Marysville School District. He received his Bache lors of Music Educa-

tion from The Ohio State University where he studied under Professor James Gallagher and Dr. Hilary Apfelstadt. In addition to his school day responsibilities, Mr. Robertson directs the Swingers Unlimited Instrumental Combo and will direct the MHS Musical “Beauty and the Beast” this

Winter. This is Mr. Robertson’s sixth year directing the Swingers Unlimited Combo. Mike thanks his wife Jodi and children Lincoln and Charlotte

for their constant love and support!

Mrs. Katie Silcott

Bunsold Middle School Choir Director, Swingers Unlimited Director, Mini Swingers Director

Mrs. Silcott is proud to be in her ninth year of teaching in the Marysville School District! She received her bachelors of Music Education from The

Ohio State University in 2002 and received her Masters of Music at OSU last summer. During her undergraduate and graduate studies she was

actively involved in many choirs including the Chorale, Symphonic Choir, University Chorus, Mastersingers, and Women’s Glee C lub. She was privi-

leged to work with the esteemed choral directors Professor James Gallagher and Dr. Hilary Apfelstadt. Mrs. Silcott enjoys the opportunity to

work with talented 7th and 8th graders every day because she discovered her love for choir when she was that age. She also c herishes her time

with the High School Vocal groups. Mrs. Silcott would like to thank the Marysville Choral Boosters and all of her colleagues , administrators, family

and friends for their support!
