About the Photographer

Photographer Jim Steinberg and his 1980 Volvo, Old Yeller, have traveled through

every region, along every highway, stopped along our scenic byways,

photographing all seasons to capture the images available on our notecards, in our annual “A Year In Colorado” calendars,

and in our travel books.

Artists Statement:

My work is based on two simple principles: the ideal of nature as propounded by Thomas Huxley

that “The world is as fresh as it was the first day, and as full of untold

novelties for him who has the eyes to see them”, and the aesthetic principle

that photography as a representational art is a matter of

form and color within a pre-defined space. These two principles guide

everything I do.

whose majesty we celebrate in all the products we create.

We take great pride in producing the finest in photographic and lithographic reproductions. Our photographs capture the beauty of many regions throughout the U.S., with many from Colorado, and represent the artistry of Jim Steinberg. Our 5”x7” notecards are produced on the highest-quality, heavy weight paper in the industry. The clarity and color are produced through a four-color process and protected by a laminate film. The back of each card is imprinted with the scene location and an interpretive description.

Producing the finest quality images is only the beginning. Our job is not complete until you are satisfied. We ship your orders to you on time (within 72 hours on all non-custom orders). All of our notecards can be custom printed, and we offer a wide assortment of holiday cards, which are available individually or in boxed sets of 10 cards.
