Sail the Seven Seas Summer Reading Program Open to students K – 12, seven weeks of programing plus a celebration party at the end.

A fun way to keep students actively reading over the summer. Stop by the library by

June 15th to get more information and to sign up. This is a free program for our patrons.

Prereader Program

We don’t want our younger prereaders to miss out on the fun. New this summer, our prereaders can sign

up to participate in a special story & craft-time each week for seven weeks. Stop by the library by June

15th to sign up your child to participate. This is a free program for our patrons.

JUNE CAMPS AT ARTS & REC Cheerleading Camp—June 17 -21

Our Cheerleading Camp is a great way for ages 6 –14 to

learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. Campers will learn

jumps, cheers, chants, and basic stunts. The Camp is staffed

with experienced Cheerleading Coach Daisha

Singletary. She cheered competitively for several years with

Cheer America. Camp hours will be 9am-12pm M-F. Max of

35 participants and min. of 6. Registration: March 25th –

June 9th .

Girls Softball Camp—June 17-20

Girls Softball Camp provides a high quality camp experience

at a reasonable cost for ages 8-15. Girls will learn basic

softball skills: pitching, hitting and catching. Camp hours are

from 9am-12pm M-Thurs. Minimum of 6 participants. This

camp will be led by Pitt Community College Head Softball

Coach, Jennie Harp. Several Pitt softball players will also be

assisting with the camp. Registration: March 25th – June

9th

Rocket Camp—June 24-28

Rocket Camp provides a high quality camp experience at a

reasonable cost for ages 9-14. The camper will design,

simulate, construct, test and fly model rockets. Each Camper

will build 2 rockets during the camp. Camp will be from

9am to 11am. Max of 8 participants and minimum of 6.

Registration: March 25th – June 16th

Tennis Camp—June 24 - 27

Tennis Camp is designed to provide athletes an opportunity

to become better tennis players in a fun and positive

atmosphere. Coach Hardy, for the last 35 years, has given

lessons for Greenville Tennis Association and Mahogany

Tennis Association. Campers will leave tennis camp with

confidence and a passion to enjoy the "Sport for a Lifetime."

Hours are 6:30pm-7:30pm M-F, ages 8 – 12. Max of 16

participants and minimum of 6. Registration: March 25th –

June 16th.

Volleyball Camp—June 24 -28

Volleyball Camp provides a high quality camp experience at

a reasonable cost for ages 8-12. This camp is offered for all

talent levels. It is also designed to teach and enhance

volleyball skills and overall performance on the

court. Participants will learn basic volleyball skills such as

passing, setting, serving, and defense. This camp will be led

by Pitt Community College Head Volleyball Coach Norman

Cabacar. Hours are 9am-12pm, M-F camp will take a

maximum of 25 participants and minimum of 6.

Registration: March 25th –June 16th

Camp Costs:

$25.00 for Ayden Residents

$35.00 for Non-Residents
