Radja Raos is the ‘King’ of Noodles

Yellow and red are become dominant colors for overall decoration of Radja Raos

shop. Radja Raos is chicken noodle shop located at Margahayu Jaya Street, East Bekasi. It is

near my house, so I just walk to go to Radja Raos to enjoy a bowl of chicken noodles or a

bowl of meatballs. The first I came to the Radja Raos I remembered about MCD restaurant

because they have same colors of wall paint for decoration. There are five the big wooden

tables in a row. The place of Radja Raos is not wide as a restaurant, but it is also not narrow

for the chicken noodles shop. However the place is modest, but it is very cozy for relaxing

and eating together with family or friends.

This is the atmosphere in Radja Raos shop. They serve Malang Meatballs, Bakso Urat,

Chicken noodles, and Yamin noodles. The service doesn’t make me satisfy enough because

the servants are not deft to serve the customers. There are 5 servants who serve in Radja

Raos, so we have to be patient if they don’t serve quickly because they have a lot of

customers. However, the servants keep the cleanness to make customers feel comfortable.

They also accept the order, so you can call them to order the chicken noodles to deliver at

your house.

Pak Didin, who also named Pak dhe is the owner of Radja Raos. He said that he also

opens a branch of Radja Raos in Tegal, Central of Java. Radja Raos opens at 10 A.M until 8

P.M. They can sell 300 bowls per day. “Since Radja Raos in Bekasi was established in 2009,

Alhamdullilah we have a lot of customers who always eat the chicken noodles or Malang

meatballs in this shop.” Pak Didin said to me.

Apparently, the customers are not only from Bekasi, but also are from the other city. Like

Mega, 35 years old, who is from Depok. “I come to here with my mother and my daughters.

We always visited Radja Raos every time I came to Bekasi to meet my parents here. My

favorite menu is Yamin noodles because the blend of soy sauce and the seasoning of noodles

are tasty,” said Mega, who is teacher plus the housewife.

The main course at Radja Raos is Malang Meatballs. It also mixed with Bakso Urat in

the bowl. I bet you have appetite to eat this because the taste is yummy. Your tongue will

taste the sensation of the chewy noodles and the savory meatballs.

This is the Malang meatball that becomes the favorite menu for most of the customers. There

are fried dumplings, tofu, and also chewy noodles. I think you will be hooked if you try it.

Tadaaaaa!!! And this is Yamin noodles that the sensations of the taste are sweet and savory. It

will fit for you who like the fried noodle than boiled noodles. It is will good if serves without

sauce.

For beverage, there are variety of juices, such as avocado juice, rose-apple juice,

orange juice, soursop juice, mango juice, and strawberry juice. The special beverage in Radja

Raos is Es Tape Kelapa (the glass of coconut water which is mixed with fermented cassava).

You don’t need worry about the prices because they offer prices less than Rp20.000. That is

friendly price, isn’t it?
