Dear Friends and Family Members:

We come together tonight after a year that challenged all of us and impacted all aspects of the arts. All of the groups you will see tonight lost most if not all of their performance season last year, and many groups were not able to perform at all. Despite incredible challenges both within the arts and within our daily lives, we come together tonight to bring back the incredible tradition, excitement and enjoyment that is marching band and live musical performance. For most of the groups this evening, this is their first performance in front of a live audience since before March of 2020.

With some of the very best bands from Connecticut and Massachusetts joining us this evening, I invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy a significant moment for these students. After a year and a half, marching band returns to Falcon Field!

On behalf of The Maloney High School Band, The City of Meriden, The Meriden Board of Education, the Maloney Music Boosters and The Meriden Community, I would like to welcome you here this evening and thank you for taking the time to support these fine schools and arts education across New England. I hope you enjoy your time in Meriden this evening as you sit back and enjoy “Half Time All The Time” at Falcon Field!

Sincerely,

Brian R. Cyr

Field Show Theme & Music Repertoire“The Enchanted Forest”

The Ram Band's 2021 Field Show, "The Enchanted Forest," is hidden from the human world, neither evil nor good inthe beginning, just mysterious and ethereal. As the story unfolds, the performers' are curious to explore this new world, some are engulfed by it and transformed into becoming one of them, and others are repelled and run away; in the end, wefind out the forest has turned against them in an epic plot twist.
