    THANKSGIVING

    We would like to thank God for what he did in 2011, and thank him for his great mercy.

    The Lord has let us wonderfully in the year, despite having gone through massive trials, it is hisgrace and mercy we have gone through difficult times in the Fellowship.

    Zhao Yue (Faith) one of our members, has accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and wasbaptized in December 2011, by her church, Foochow Methodist Church. We thank God for thisand we welcome this newest sister in Christ. Esther, our Vice-Director, has been praying for ZhaoYue to accept Christ, and we thank God that Esther's prayers have been answered. Her cousinYuan Ye (Yuri) is also with us.

    ESTHER IN CAMBODIA

    Our Vice-Director Esther Lim visited Cambodia from the 2nd of January and came back toSingapore on the 9th. The purpose of her visit was to visit friends and also to encourage the

    Fellowship people there. Chermaine Ong accompanied Esther to Cambodia.

    Thanks to everybody who prayed for them during the trip. Although Phnom Penh was hit by riots,they completed their mission and returned back safely.

    REBEKAH MARRIED

    Rebekah, our missionary in Cambodia, got married to her fiancee Chan Makara on January 7.Rebekah is a trained pharmacist and provides medical support to the Fellowship there. On behalfof everybody at the Fellowship Christ Society Singapore, we wish her and Makara a blessedwedding.

    HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

    On behalf of everybody in the Fellowship, we wish all our members and leaders a Happy ChineseNew Year, and God bless you all in the Year of the Dragon!

    Please pray for Hui Ngim as she will be heading back to Cambodia and will be back from Phnom

    Penh until the 28th of January to celebrate Chinese New Year with her family in Cambodia.

    PROGRAM COORDINATOR APPOINTED

    Lorraine Wee has been appointed Program Coordinator, replacing Evan Gong who was theActing Program Coordinator. Samantha Soh and Timothy Bradley has also been named asadvisers. Their appointments will take effect on Friday.

    PRAY FOR LYDIA

    Please pray for our missionary Lydia Heng. She is very lonely in Chennai, India and misses

    home. She recently recovered from a severe throat infection. She is almost completing her coursein nursing, and will return to Cambodia in May.

    She is one of our Cambodian sisters, and she has established a small Fellowship in Chennaiconsisting of three to four girls. They have gone out to the streets to evangelize and also domedical missions and they have slowly added to their numbers, adding two believers to the faith.Recently Lydia and another girl when to the town of Valparai to do mission work.

    PRAY FOR PISEY

    Please pray for Pisey. She is the leader of the Cambodian Fellowship. Pisey's sister Jenny isdoing well at Logos, but the football team lost 3-1, and Jenny was playing.

    The Cambodian Fellowship is doing very well. They celebrated Christmas and several peoplewere baptized just before Christmas and Pisey saw several girls from her CG baptized, so she isvery happy. She has a job at Logos School, she is an assistant teacher in Grade 6.
