The Uplift Housing Projectis a new initiative in Freeborn County that

address several economic issues. 1. Housing Shortage 2. Foreclosures 3. Employment

In 2015 we have the capacity to refurbish and place 20 families in homes which they will own. We need funding to start the first 10 homes, at which point the project will be self sufficient. Foreclosures will be secured for approx. 25k and we anticipate needing to invest another 25k to ensure structural safety

(roof, siding, foundation, etc.).Homes will be sold for approx. 55k-60k to cover any additional costs. Families, through our partnerships with the local banks, will be able to secure loans for less than they are currently paying for rent and in turn will re-invest their

incomes in our local economy.To donate building materials or funds,
