• Strategic Outcome: The District of Kohthom agricultural community has access to capacity building and information sharing opportunities.
• Performance Measures:• Number of best practices / techniques identified • Selection of champion farmers• Net benefit: before and after implementation• Number of outreach / educational opportunities
• ProjectsHire an individual that has knowledge and expertise in rice crop management (possibly focus on dry season rice)– Research and identify best practices in rice crop management– Identify rice champion farmers to take part in the project– Education– Explore the value of agricultural cooperatives

• Strategic Outcome: Kohthom District businesses are known for actively sharing common challenges and opportunities. They identify ways of helping each other improve their capacity and provide new ideas. Government representatives understand the value of actively participating in these events.
• Performance Measures:– Number of events scheduled– Number of participants– Number of participants that identify the sessions as being a good investment of time– Next steps to be undertaken in coming years identified
• Projects– Have resources to coordinate business sharing events (2012)– Identify entrepreneur interest– Organize three business sharing / business education events in 2012– Communicate information – Identify other business best practices
