I am deaf person and I use videophone to communicate with both deaf and hearing people all the times. Onething that irks me is the inability of different VRS services (such as Sorenson, Purple, ZVRS, etc) tointeroperate with each other with ease. Several times, I get fuzzy video or "blank" (black) screen that I cannotsee the person on other end of the call. Please enact a bill to force them to respect the customer's rights.

If a deaf person owns a business, and they need to contact anybody in the whole world so we can interact andgrow our business. Without video capabilities of growing our business and communication, we are backwhere we started zero! Please reconsider this and ensure that all video phones are capabilities to eachequipment. smartphones, computers, Sorenson, zvrs, purple, caavrs and much much more. Please help us, weDeaf do vote too! We are the people, by the people, for the people. God Bless you!

This problem of not being able to contact Deaf friends via video phone because I am hearing is nothing shortof discrimination!!! I am so tired of the government separating us into classes (hearing and Deaf) and makingcommunication less private because we are forced to say everything through relay services even if we haveour own technology and are proficient signers. Agree 100% -- this is important for access to healthcare as well! FCC -- on a separate note -- video phoneaccess needs to be made available to hearing individuals who have deaf family members AS WELL ASdeaf-skilled, ASL fluent professionals who need to be able to communicate directly with deaf collaterals, anddeaf patients via video phone -- Although I am fluent in ASL I sometimes am forced to communicate withpatients thru a VRS -- costing the government money --- if I had access to a videophone for point to pointcommunication then I could communicate directly with my deaf patients or deaf collateral professionals andnot incur any interpreting costs --- unfortunately hearing people do not get equivalent access to videophonetechnology ---
