MORE FACTS & FIGURES ABOUT ACADEMIA SPORTING:

More than 350 players, from U9 to U19, currently playing on our youth teams

An average of 7 players on each of the portuguese national teams, from U16 to

U19 (e.g. 10 of the 18 players from the U17 National Team that played the European Championship 2010

were Sporting players)

Since 2002 (Academia Sporting inauguration), 30 players from our youth teams

integrated Sporting professional team

Since 2002, Academia Sporting developed more than 100 players currently

playing professional football in Portugal and around Europe (75 of which are

currently playing in the Portuguese First and Second Divisions)

Since 2002 Sporting obtained additional gains of more than 100M€ with the

transfers of players developed in Academia Sporting (+/- 5M€ resulting from

FIFA Solidarity Mechanism)
