Well it is fair to say that prices are not falling but on the same hand they are not rising - however is a stable market such a bad thing? perhaps after the uncertainty of the past few years you would have to argue it’s not after all. prices are definitely key to achieving a successful sale of your home, that’s not to say it must be priced cheaply, here at Fine & country we take a long time looking at the marketplace to make sure you guide your property correctly to ensure an effective sale and a good market price.

a televised european challenge tour international golf event is to be held again at stoke by nayland hotel, golf & spa from thursday 21st – sunday 24th July. this is the second year that the european tour has brought this prestigious championship to the renowned stoke by nayland gainsborough course, following a very successful inaugural event in 2010.

there will be around 160 professionals from around the globe - some of them from the main european tour - competing for a 160,000 euro pot over the four days of the championship. entry is free to spectators and there will be also be free golf clinics at the driving range during the 4 day event.

once again there will also be excellent value-for-money hospitality packages during all four days – from just £50+ vat for a full day to include coffee and pastries on arrival, 3 course lunch with wine and full english afternoontea - and an opportunity to stroll around the course to

the origins of the sport can be traced back to riders racing their horses from one church steeple to another over natural countryside, jumping whatever obstacles crossed their path - hence the name point-to-point. the sport has evolved somewhat over the years and these days racing is over a designated course, generally covering a distance of three miles. bathed in sunshine, this easter’s saturday meeting proved to be a fantastic family day out, with visitors enjoying a flutter or soaking up a race meeting at grass roots level. this proved to be the busiest day ever at higham races due to Fine & country’s support in marketing the event. races covered all abilities of horses from young to old, novice to advanced, and the crowd was able to stand close to the action and experience the thrills and spills of a heated race. spectators were also able to enjoy the thrills of pony racing.

on the day, Fine & country equestrian, in partnership with stratton motor company, offered visitors the chance to win an exclusive test drive in an aston martin. Fine & country equestrian also ran a competition to win a two hour hack for two people at poplar park equestrian centre near Woodbridge in suffolk.
