FC Blades English Premier League (EPL) Camps 2012 In July 2012, we were ‘once again’ graced by the presence of 6 AMAZING coaches from Manchester United. Over 600 local players had the ‘privilege’ of working with these extremely talented coaches during the 4 weeks that they were in Irvine. I hope that you enjoy reading the great feedback from our summer 2012 EPL camp and we hope to see you again for our 2013 EPL camp. Thanks, Tim Woodcock FC Blades Technical Director

Emily and I think the EPL camp was Awesome! Emily really enjoyed spending time with her teammates and learned a lot on skill building and strategy. I was a little nervous about it being 3 hours per day but it went by quickly for Emily and Coach Chris was able to keep the girls on task the entire time. She wasn’t overly tired either. Great experience all around…she even enjoyed the homework. I would highly recommend it again. Thank you! Donna Garner We truly enjoy it... every year. Let me know if u have an available spot for Dimitri Anastasakis next week.. Daytime? He just finished tonight and asked if he could attend. Jon and Tiffany. You are fast asking for feedback. Weren't we just enjoying the potluck? Only positive feedback from the Hickman house. What a great program. I am most grateful for your flexibility in letting Freddy join Tues/Thursday. Top quality coaches that are gifted at teaching skills in a fun and enthusiastic way. What will I do when Freddy is 15? :) You should build a camp for olders. Thank you Sherry. My two girls had a blast. The coaches are real professionals that made learning new soccer skills fun and challenging enough to bring them to the next level. As a parent I forward to see my girls use their new skills this upcoming season. I have signed up my daughter for another week. Thank you for putting together this great camp! Alan Reyes Diana and Nicole Loved the 3 scrimmages each day. Loved the field, setup, loved the huddle at the end of each day w/ winners, goal, player of day with cents handed out. Really kept the players engaged and listening. It is always a nice thing to recognize a job well done in front of the group as well as to be recognized by the coach. It showed the coaches were paying attention and watching. It was well run, and if we were able we would definitely enroll again. Great job to all the staff and to blades. Thanks. Michele Wong Ella Garcia Everything was great! Here's some quick feedback: Coaches were very kid-friendly - most important trait to any mom!!! I didn't stay during the camp so I didn't see firsthand the coaching going on - but Sophia seemed to get more excited about the sport and more confident in her skills each day. That tells me coaching must have been great! Organized and consistently clear communication - awesome! Positive, upbeat atmosphere! We had a great time!!!! Thank you! Tami From Sav: "I like how they give out awards, bring in great coaches and play with my team" Thanks, Gail My son Tomaz had a FANTASTIC time this week with Coach Gabe! He absolutely loved it and couldn't wait until the next day every day! And I think he's improved a lot over the week, and coach Gabe was very nice and encouraging! A great

experience for sure! After we left the camp on Friday, Tomaz looked sad and I asked why...he said it was because camp was over. He asked to do it again next week! Are there any spots available for him? Thanks again, Joana My daughter had a really great time at camp last week. All of her comments were very positive and she seemed very happy to attend each morning. The coaches seemed very friendly and it looked like she was worked pretty hard which I like as a parent. A very positive experience for the 3rd year in a row. Thanks, Andrea Izzo Parker loved the camp! She had so much fun and learned a ton! I really appreciated how Gabe not only focused on skills but also on attitude. He was fantastic! Parker also loved the tournaments!

The kids had a great time at both the team and the day-time EPL camps. They preferred the team camp, however, because they said it was more challenging and there were better tournaments, which is understandable given that the day camp is open to the general public. Still, they had a lot of fun since a few of their non-Blades friends were there this week, and they got to play with Dylan, who is on an older team than Alex and a younger team than Evan. They enjoyed working with all of the coaches - Evan's only comment during the team camp week was that it would have been fun to work with different coaches, instead of the same one the whole time. They liked the awards as well, but wish that more Man U shirts were given out!!! All in all, both weeks were a success as far as Evan and Alex were concerned. Rhonda The boys really liked the camp. I was happy to hear from Carson's (4 3/4 year old) coach, Stewart that he felt he did well considering he was the youngest one out there. It seems that he was mixed with 5 and 6 year olds. I appreciate that you decided to place the younger kids in the fields nearest the restroom (for obvious reasons). It also allowed me to watch both my boys simultaneously without having to walk clear across the field (this was nice). Thanks again for a great EPL camp. See you in the fall! Tiffany Eich Thank you for all the great coaching you and your team gave our children this week! I liked everything about the week and the only thing I would have liked to see is a sign in and sign out for the children (I know we already spoke regarding this). There were 2 of the 5 days I saw children waiting for parents that were very late. Hope you enjoy the rest of the Summer! Linda DeTorres This is the 2nd year that Ezra attended the summer soccer camp - last year he did the EPL camp when it was held at the Quail Hill location. I'm not sure if it's because he's a year older, or because he played more soccer this past year, but this summer, he especially enjoyed himself. I think he really loved how everything was related to real soccer teams and tournament names, and the daily homework, too. I think the coaches all did an amazing job really recognizing different kids each day to boost their confidence and it made such a difference. Thank you for a GREAT soccer camp last week! Please thank all the coaches for us, too - they clearly love the game of soccer and really enjoy passing along their wisdom and experience to the kids - and the kids really soak it all in. We look forward to Ezra participating again next summer, and including his younger sister to participate as well. Have a wonderful rest of the summer! Blessings, Binnah Han (Ezra Han's mom)
