Set family rules and check in with your kids regularly to make sure the expecta-tions are reinforced. Common Sense Media also offers up some excellent articles on ways to use parental controls to make the in-ternet a little bit safer:

As the school year winds down, the Lincoln PTO is already in the planning stages for

2019-2020 school year. There are numerous opportunities for parental

involvement in the PTO. Being involved in the PTO at any level is a tremendous way

to be active in your child’s school.

Membership in the PTO is the first step in ensuring that the current PTO sponsored

activities remain in place. Parent volunteers are needed for the PTO executive

board and committee chairs are needed to preserve activities that the PTO currently

offers throughout the school year.

We hope you’ll consider participation in the PTO in one of the following roles.

PTO Executive Board

President & Co-President

This is a two year commitment beginning with the 2019-2020 school

year.

Secretary & Treasurer

This is a two year commitment. Whomever takes on these roles would

need to shadow the current secretary and treasurer at the end of the

2020 school year.
