Innovations are inevitable toachievebestsolutions.However,itmakesengineeringproductdesignerschallengemore complex in acquiring the knowledge of physics behind phenomenonassociated with fatigue, fracture, material, process, product design, validationtechniques&veri�icationprocedurestomeettherealworldchallenge.Itistheneedofthehourtoacquire,adoptandexcelinthisknowledge.
Further,Ontheotherhand,itisabilliondollarquestionto & or repair re-use rejectthe existing structures, which are subjected to all kind of environments, serviceloads,andabusiveconditionsovertheyears.Howsafearethey?,Canwecontinuewithsamecondition,thenhowlong?Isitrepairable/reusableifyes,thenhow?orrejectthem-howtocometoajudgementofrejectingthem.Tonsofquestionsintheengineersmindneed answers. FatigueDurability 2015, �irst time created a platform for multi-disciplinarydiscussion.Wethankallfortheoverwhelmingresponse.600peopleparticipated,80+ papers presented, 25+ experts' shared expert keynote and more than 15companiesexhibitedthetechnologies.
Moving along, as a follow up of last year conference, FatigueDurability India2016isplannedthisSeptember28-30th@JNTataAuditorium,IndianInstituteofScience,Bangalore.FatigueDurabilityIndia2016bringsexpertsfromdifferentpartof the world to ensure rigorous technical experience for cross disciplinaryinteractions.
This 2nd International Conference & Exhibition brings industrial experts andacademicians on a single platform to facilitate the exchange of ideas andadvancements in the �ield of fatigue, durability and fracture mechanics and itsapplications.
