In Our Prayers

Archdiocesan News

Every October, we consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. “To smile at someone who is sad; to visit, even for a little while, someone who is lonely; to give someone shelter from the rain with our umbrella; to read something for someone who is blind: these and others can be small things, very small things, but they are appropriate to give our love of God concrete expression.” ~ St. Mother Teresa. _____________________________________________ Beginning Experience is a program which helps the divorced or

widowed through the grieving process, enabling them to look to the future with renewed hope and deepened faith. A weekend will be held Nov. 5-7 at the Franciscan Prayer Center, Independence, Mo. For more information, visit: www.beginningexperiencekc.org or call Maria at (913) 314-9844.

Religious Ed & Youth Group News

If any parishioner is interested in submitting a bid for snow removal, turn in the bid to the parish office by Nov. 1. A job description and bid sheet can be found on the parish website. If you have questions, contact Mike Davenport at

(816) 806-3263. _____________________________________________ We are now offering online giving as a convenience for our supporters. There is a link on the parish website if online giving is your preferred method. You can use this to make a one-time donation or you can set up recurring payments. Creating an account is not necessary unless you like the convenience. This site allows you to pay with any major credit/debit card or you can link your checking account directly. Similar to using the envelopes, there are various categories to direct your donation: Church Support, Building Fund, Mission Sunday, Flowers, etc.. If you have any questions, contact Catherine in the parish office. _____________________________________________ Need a document notarized? Nancy Lanza offers this service at

our parish. Notary services are available by appointment in the evenings or weekends. You can reach Nancy at (914) 646-9120 or by email at: [email protected]. Thank you for making this service available to our parish!
