    Different Concepts Of Fate:

    Predestination:

Predestination is a religious concept which involves the relationshipbetween God and God's creation. According to this concept all the fate of one iswritten by God.

    Protestantism:

In their concepts protestants denies the value of sources orconditions of justification and insists on it the necessary fruits of faith, andevidence of justification.

They do not only believe in predestination but also self efforts to make choices

    to make own fate.

It is a sequence of events

or actions that embodies something already.

    On this concept in 19th

    THE MANIFEST DESTINYaccording

to which it was stated that it is pre-destined

and manifest fact that for the development

and betterment of north world America

    Fate And Philosophy:

According to most of philosophers fate is just a manifestation of the will to Live.

Will to Live is the main aspect of the living. The animal cannot be aware of theWill, but men can at least see life through its perspective, though it is theprimary and basic desire. But this fact is a pure irrationality that human desireis equally futile, illogical, directionless, and, by extension, so is all humanaction. Therefore, the Will to Live can be at the same time living fate and choiceof overrunning the fate same, by means of the Art, of the Morality.

    Greek Concept About Fate:

In Greek mythology, any of three goddesses who determined human destinies,

and in particular the span of a persons life was fate. From the time of the poet Hesiod (8th century BC) on, however, the Fates werepersonified as three very old women who spin the threads of human destiny.Their names were Clotho (Spinner), Lachesis (Allotter), and Atropos (Inflexible).Clotho spun the thread of human fate, Lachesis dispensed it, and Atropos cutthe thread (thus determining the individuals moment of death

    Etymology Of Luck:

The English noun luckappears comparatively late, during the 1480s, as a loanfrom Low German (Dutch or Frisian) luk, a short form ofgelucke . It likelyentered English as a gambling term, and the context of gambling remainsdetectable in the word's connotations; luck is a way of understanding a personalchance event.

Luck has three aspects which make it distinct from chance or probability.

    Luck is good or bad.

Luck is by accident or chance. Luck applies to a person.

    Interpretations of luck:

Luck is interpreted and understood in many different ways.

    Luck as lack of control:

Luck refers to that which happens to a person beyond that

person's control. Within this framework one can differentiate between threedifferent types of luck:

Constitutional luck, that is, luck with factors that cannot be changed. Place ofbirth and genetic constitution are typical examples.

Circumstantial luckwith factors that are haphazardly brought on. Accidents

    and epidemics are typical examples.

Ignorance luck, that is, luck with factors one does

not know about. Examples can be identified only

    in hindsight.

    Luck as a fallacy:

A rationalist approach to luck includes the application of the rules of probability, and an avoidance of unscientific beliefs.

While superstitious people use to simultaneously presume to have insight intoevents and, paradoxically, to cease efforts to understand the causes and effectsof those same events which takes them away from the facts and realities.

    Luck as an essence

There is a series of spiritual, or supernatural beliefs regarding

fortune. These beliefs vary widely from one to another, but most

agree that luck can be influenced through spiritual means by

performing certain rituals or by avoiding certain circumstances.

One such activity is prayer, a religious practice in which this belief

is particularly strong. Many cultures and religions worldwide place

a strong emphasis on a person's ability to influence their fortune by

ritualistic means, sometimes involving sacrifice, omens or spells.

The Will Of God In Our Fate And Luck:

    The Will Of God:

    Any understanding

of the Creator's role in the universeneeds to start with the realization that God is the source of all life. "The Lord hand

    made all things for himself"

Because God is the One who set the world in motion, it is logical to assume that He

is able to determine the course of events. Whatever outcome He desires will come

to pass. If we are to know our own fate, we need to understand what God has

    decreed for our life.

Role Of Fate And Luck In Our Society:

All the trials and tribulations that a man face in the world are in a sense dependenton his fate and luck. They are the external factors beyond the control which actsupon the decisions and steps we takes.

Fate and luck have a very profound effect on our social life. Successful men and

women are always described by their fate and luck including good decisions.

Fate and luck are an invulnerable source behind the progress and success of aperson. The very perspective concerned to our social lives in influence of fate an luckis either our rational and irrational believes in the sequence of events and actionsunfolded in front of us with the passage of uncontrollable power time.

A good society is dependent on its uncontrollable luck and the fate but the believesand decisions of the people made togather.

Effects Of fate And Luck On Our Believes:

The belief in luck as a supernatural phenomenon is generally regarded byrationalists as a form of magical thinking. However, there is evidence thatpeople who believe themselves to have good luck are more able to takeadvantage of fortunate chance events in their lives, and to compensate forunfortunate chance events in their lives, than people who believe that they havebad luck. This appears to be the result of positive thinking altering theirresponses to these events. A belief in luck can also indicate a belief in anexternal locus of control for events and to make the fate.

Luck - Risky lifestyles - FateOften those who ascribe their travails to "bad

luck" will be found upon close examination to be living risky lifestyles. Forexample: a drunk driver may ascribe their arrest to the bad luck of beingobserved by a patrolman, or the bad luck of being involved in a traffic accident(perhaps not even the victim's fault), as a way of avoiding personalresponsibility for their actions. So way it kicks away the fate.

Luck - Positive outlook - fateOn the other hand, people who consider themselves

"lucky" in having good health may be actually reaping the benefits of a cheerful

outlook and satisfying social relationships, both of which are well knownstatistically to be protective against many stress-related diseases. So way theywelcomes the fate.

    Luck Effects - Fate

If "good" and "bad" events occur at random to everyone, believers ingood luck will experience a net gain in their fortunes And fate, and vice versafor believers in bad luck.

This is clearly likely to be self-reinforcing. Thus, although untrue, a belief ingood luck may actually be an adaptive meme.

Rational Viewpoint OF Fate And Luck:

As related to the occurrences of actual events considered to be of lowprobability in a mathematical or statistical sense. A rationalist

approach would lead to the conclusion that such matters as whetheror not someone bore a victim ill would have no bearing upon (forexample) that person being hit by a loose brick falling from a decrepitbuilding. It was only due to a remote statistical probability that aperson happened to be walking past when a brick fell. In a case likethis, both rationalists and spiritualists would likely say that.

Ways To prepare for Triggering salesopportunities:

We can't predict what is going to come to us by accident, but we can beprepared--by working hard and putting in extra effort--to take advantage ofwhatever comes our way.

    Networking Out side your circle:

After a while, we get so used to dealing with ourlimited circle of customers, peers, contacts and even mentors that we settle for

what makes us comfortable. The longer you settle, the harder it is to get out ofthe rut. When you move out of your comfort zone, you never know what newrelationships you might be able to form and how they might lead you to newbusiness opportunities.

    Significance Of Fate And Luck:

FATE does play significant role in success and failures of industry. Typically, it isbelieved as a supernatural element which is ordained by a higher authority or adivine being pulling the strings. However, it can also be understood as ameasure of probability in mathematics and complex polynomial systems whichdefine our place in the universe. Each of us has certain innate characteristics,

some of them are constructive and others are destructive and generallyconsidered ill or evil, depending on their effects to people and environmentsaround us.

In any case, we have a limited measure of control of our lives and it is theresulting consequences of the interaction of that limited control with anticipatedpossibilities which drives our industry forth. While luck is really something and it

also plays an important role in industry. A goodluck may make the industry bestamong all , while a badluck can lead the industry towards complete destruction.

  • 8/2/2019 Fate and luck & Communication skills.

    51/55

    Static Features:

    Distance:

The distance one stands from another frequently conveys a non-verbal

message. In some cultures it is a sign of attraction, while in others it may reflect

status or the intensity of the exchange.

    Orientation:

People may present themselves in various ways: face-to-face, side-to-

side, or even back-to-back. For example, cooperating people are likely to sit side-

by-side while competitors frequently face one another.

    Posture.:

Obviously one can be lying down, seated, or standing. These are not

the elements of posture that convey messages. Are we slouched or erect ? Are our

legs crossed or our arms folded ? Such postures convey a degree of formality and

movement. Most people use hand movements regularly when talking. While some

gestures have universal meanings, most of the others are individually learned and

    idiosyncratic.

    Looking:

A major feature of social communication is eye contact. It can convey

emotion, signal when to talk or finish, or aversion. The frequency of contact may

    suggest either interest or boredom.

used to refer to common properties of languages.

Language learning is normal in human childhood.

Most human languages use patterns of sound or

gesture for symbols which enable communication

    Ingredients Of Good Communication:

The main ingredient that determines part of

a good communication is "how you say

it. It has a major impact on the receiver.

You have to capture the attention of the

audience and connect with them. For

example, two persons saying the same

joke, one of them could make the audience

die laughing related to his good body language and tone of voice. However, the

second person that has the exact same words could make the audience stare at one

    another.
