Greetings Hidden Lakes homeowners. As you may know, Point Broadband has started constructing an advanced Fiber-to-the-Home broadband network in your neighborhood. Our construction crews will be installing the ducts and fiber optic cables in the coming weeks and services are planned to go live in late September. In order to speed the process of connecting homes, we would like to get your permission to pre-install a small plastic duct that is less than ½” inch in diameter to each existing home in the neighborhood. This duct or pipe will go from an underground box in the public Right-of-Way to the side of the home, normally next to your existing power meter. While we hope to earn your business, installing this duct does not obligate you to buy from Point Broadband. However, having this duct pre-installed would make it much easier to quickly activate services should you elect to become a Point Broadband subscriber. This also helps us to do a single bore or cut for two homes. Here is a small overhead view of how the ducts will be routed to each house.

Point Broadband contractors will have existing utilities located by the local 811 Call-Before-You-Dig service. However, if you have sprinkler pipes, electric dog fence wires, or other underground facilities please provide a sketch of their locations on the authorization form. If our contractor accidentally hits a sprinkler pipe or one of these wires, it will be repaired at no cost to you.

AUTHORIZATION
