It has a membership of over 185 countries and is committed to promoting foreign investment, international trade, and facilitating capital investment. In 2011, the group distributed $57.3 billion in credits, loans, grants, and guarantees. BACKGROUND The financial institution maintained its websites globally using a J2EE based homegrown system to keep its members informed and updated about regionally relevant programs. However, they were finding it difficult to manage the rapidly growing volume of content. Therefore, HCL took the initiative to design and deliver a scalable and flexible web solution. CUSTOMER OBJECTIVES The customer’s objective was to simplify content management and publishing, and reduce website creation time by 75%. HCL offered the customer a one-stop end to end digital experience solution, Platform for eXperience Management (PXM) in Adobe CQ5 using the jumpstart kits of 50+ reusable components, to enable its business users to perform content management and publishing.

In addition the digital experience solution would:

• Simplify the creation and management of multi-lingual websites by business users providing drag and drop component functionality

• Migrate 100+ country websites to Adobe CQ5

• Provide brand consistency by using reusable components to create and manage templates and pages

• Implement workflow for on-time content creation and approval process

• Utilize out-of-the-box features to reduce development efforts, leading to productivity gains

• Integrate Application Programming Interface (API)/Representational State Transfer (REST)-based with other J2EE applications for content aggregation

• Integrate with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Single Sign On (SSO) for an effective user authentication process

• Integrate with Omniture—a web-analytics tool, to analyze country-wise website popularity

• Develop and integrate a tool with CMS to automate the creation of 1500+ labels in each website
