Feminine and glamorous with a hint of fun, Spring Summer 2015 sees Rodeo Show take cues from the flirty 50's, bohemian 70's and an edgy Palm Springs sports luxe look.

tyled and shot by Australian fashion royalty, Margaret Zhang, the campaign is Sinspired by the life of a social butterfly – the idea of sisterhood, girlfriends, glamour, sophistication and the girl who always has another special event lined up in her calendar.

Rodeo Show CEO, Lisa Moore comments, “We wanted to celebrate this season by collaborating with one of Australia's favourite fashion 'IT' girls, and a true social butterfly. Margaret's photographic eye and styling aesthetic was the perfect fit to come on board as a creative partner for our Spring Summer campaign.”

Timeless in essence with a pared-back aesthetic, silhouettes in the collection are simple and graceful. Key styles include the white clipped jacquard Bridie dress that gives a nod to the 1950's circle skirts – lots of volume and very dramatic. 1970's inspired jumpsuits and two-piece sets are presented in exclusive floral prints and block colours including dusty pink, white, blue and black, plus rich tones of beet red, cranberry, burnt orange.

Culottes in a directional crosshatch print take a modern and sports luxe approach to this 1970's style whilst geometric guipure lace dresses and georgette shift dresses add an element of textural delicacy to barely-there surfaces.

Margaret Zhang comments, "When styling the range I wanted to capture a scene or story in each frame - I loved the idea of 70s glamour hair, platform shoes and gold accent jewellery, but a much more powerful woman rather than a super girly one, which would be the obvious route with florals and lace."

"The Fleur print was definitely my favourite - it works so well in all of the featured cuts and is a fresh addition to any summer look.”

The Rodeo Show Spring Summer collection is available nationally in boutiques and online www.rodeoshow.com.au from September 2015. Styles are available in size 6 to 14 with prices ranging from $99 to $369

ecognisable by the quality of product and integrity of the design, 'Here Comes RThe Sun' is identifiable as intrinsically SUNDAY SOMEWHERE. Evolving iconic styles, re-inventing shapes, acetates and cutting it all back with textural contrasts 'Here Comes The Sun' is a lifestyle choice. Inspired by experiences and cultural icons, this collection is a game-changer. Introducing the first rimless frame with a flat lens in the Raine,a twist on the 'cats eye' in the Kurt fused with mixed acetates of burgundy, navy and bronze saturate the collection.

And an energy and warmth

That says 'Come on, let's get out there'

Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 16 Collection

has Major Cuban InfluencesW O R D S J E S S I C A L U N A N

The designs, inspired by the bright colours of the Caribbean, turquoise waters of Jamaica and the sandy beaches of Mustique Island, were made for relaxation and embrace the freedom that fashion can give for self-expression.

Silhouettes within the collection are relaxed, floaty and hold 1970's influences. Bright, tropical flora and fauna inspired by textile artist Josef Frank are presented on billowing dresses, with the inclusion of vibrant stripes and tropical patchworks adding contrast to the pieces. An element of craftiness is included within the designs with beaded tapes trimming faded denim jackets and chinos, with traditional cricket sweaters and polos being made from crochet and netted mesh.

The collection creates a sense of wanderlust and has us pining for a tropical island getaway this summer.

Cuban influences are set to be huge this Spring/Summer, and they have definitely been a major influencer for the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 16 collection titled, Island Hopping.

ollowing the launch of Kelly Osbourne's film on 31 August, this chapter of the F'Today I Am' series seeks to champion individual style and explore how fashion and beauty is an ever-evolving personal journey.

Directed by famed Australian Fashion Film Award winner, Gracie Otto, Lara Worthington continues the 'Today, I Am' story discussing the fashion and life experiences which empower her.

Making her campaign debut since becoming a mother, Westfield Style Ambassador Lara Worthington, says: “I'm quite a uniform dresser and the one thing that stays constant in my wardrobe is black. Masculine or feminine, I look for pieces that bring out the confidence in me – as a mother and wife, in front of the camera, or with my friends.

The concept behind the Today, I Am campaign echoes my personal approach to style – it says fashion can give the individual a sense of freedom and empowerment to be whoever they want to be.”

'Today, I Am' fashion film

Westfield shopping centres in Australia and New Zealand have unveiled its next Spring Summer 2015 fashion film, 'Today, I Am', starring Lara Worthington.

12

The film captures Lara's style and features the latest SS15 trends from international and Australian designers including Zimmerman, Dion Lee, Cotton On, Sheike, Sportscraft, Wanted Shoes and Swarovski.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the lens, recent winner of the People's Choice Award AFFA 2015, Gracie Otto says: “The film is a story of evolving and reinventing. Today, I Am is based around the idea of being in the moment, taking an emotion and expressing it through style, while revealing new facets of Lara. It's about who Lara is right now, what she wears and how she wears it.”

or Spring we are loving midi skirts in billowing fabrics and light colours. The most Fflattering shapes cinches in at the waist and ends right below the knee. The high waist allows this skirt to be paired with a cropped top while still looking classy. If showing skin is not your thing, channel a Parisian-chic style by wearing the midi skirt with a soft, button down blouse. For a casual look, socialite Olivia Palermo has been spotted styling the midi skirt with a button down chambray blouse and heeled sandals.

The midi skirt can be worn in a variety of ways to suit each body shape, making it the perfect wardrobe essential this Summer.

Through the decades we have seen skirts in all shapes and lengths almost always returning for the Summer season. This season's must have style is the mid-length skirt.

resented by six individuals who are intrinsically linked to trend setting, PRENEGADE reveals a definitive hair fashion forecast.

Expensive and editorial, the story depicts six confident females who reject echoes of a tasteless mainstream culture littered with whimsical social starlets. In contrast, the spirit of this collection is purposefully strong and statement making, providing visual cues that sit outside the traditional realms of femininity.

There are elements of androgyny that are strengthened via a very neutral make-up palette that acts only to highlight and accentuate contour. The fashion styling features button down and high neck collars in overtly expensive fabrics that visually contribute to the high-end fashion portraits.

The colour story is strong, yet purposefully opaque, focusing on the incorporation of what is essentially a five part palette. Marsala features heavily further authenticating the fashion forward vision within the storyboard, whilst placement of colour is deliberately unexpected with block panels invading the shapes.

The use of texture is significant, and has been carefully considered to compliment and not compete with the matte finish of the colour. Traitorous and totally self-assured, RENEGADE marches confidently into the upcoming season, unaffected by peripheral noise and any agenda other than its own.
