Rhode Island School of Design: The Rhode Island School of
Design has an interactive website that is well organized and easy
to access. Information is not difficult to find unlike other
college sites. There are many pictures of art made by students and
the Rhode Island School of Design has exhibitions of these pieces
of art on campus as well as off campus. Some of the art on the
website is critically acclaimed. This tells me that the Rhode
Island school values its students and their work. The Rhode Island
School of Design provides multiple options for academic classes and
it encourages diversity. With the city as your studio, there is no
limit to creativity.

Employment: Today, the multidisciplinarity of design careers
offers exciting creative options to pursue. Graduates leave the
department with a broad range of skills that prepare them for many
career paths. Many graduates become designers of apparel for a
diversity of companies from small design studios to large
companies. Graduates pursue a wide range of markets: women's wear,
men's wear, children's wear, knitwear, bridal, evening wear, etc.
Some eventually open their own labels. Careers in curatorship,
fashion public relations, styling, fashion press, and fashion
forecasting are additional avenues, as well as textiles and fine
arts.
