ADVATEX combines the easy care benefi ts, style and comfort you’d expect from Biz Corporates with unbeatable bacterial control.

The range of 8 bacteria tested for the ADVATEX range is as follows:

• Staphylococcus aureus • Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)• Escherichia coli (Ecoli)• Klebsiella pneumonia• Listeria moncytogenes• Enterobacter aerogenes • Pseudomonas aeruginosa• Corynebacterium xerosis

ADVATEX will control the above bacteria strains with an eff ectiveness of between 80% and 99%. Textiles are tested at 40 0C across 40+ washes, knitwear is tested at 40 0C across 30+ washes. (Bacterial control, as described above, for the life of the garment can be extended by using an ADVATEX Booster additive)

ADVATEX also includes the application of an ‘easy care’ technology to cellulosic fi bre garments.

To create ADVATEX the element Silver has been converted into a Silver Compound, this highly effi cient, microscopic compound is then applied to our textiles via a unique coating procedure. Once coated the ADVATEX fabric is able to not only resist bacteria, but actively eliminate it.

How does ADVATEX workThe anti-microbial eff ect of the natural element silver is exclusively based on free silver ions. Due to the ‘triple eff ect’ mechanism technology, silver ions with a positive charge have bacteriostatic eff ects.
