St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sponsorship Opportunity

As a Board Member of the Farmingdale Village Merchant Association, and Chairman of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sub-Committee, I’d like to take this opportunity to make you aware of this years’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Farmingdale Village on March 20nd at 1pm. The parade route will take those marching through the Village starting at Northside School and ending at the Village Green.

The Farmingdale Village Merchants Association is a group of volunteers comprised of shop owners and residents who work together in organizing different events that will draw people to visit our downtown and shops and restaurants. As with any event, we’re looking for your support to help make this event the best yet. In an effort to raise badly needed fund we’ll be posting signs throughout the Village thanking the sponsors of the event. We have adver-tising options available ranging in price from $100 - $1,000. Please keep in mind that this parade attracts thousands of people to our Village and the sponsorship is a great way to keep you business’ name in front of them when they visit our Village. Any funds remaining after the Parade is paid for will be held in an account and those funds will be used towards other events for Farmingdale Village.

Below, please find the different sponsorship options and if any of them pique your interest please reach out to me at (516) 607-6277 or [email protected]. I am the Chair-man of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and can assist you with any questions you may have regarding the Parade itself or any sponsorship options.

$100 – Bronze Sponsorship $250 – Silver Sponsorship $500 – Gold Sponsorship $1,000 – Platinum Sponsorship

Thank you in advance for your time and participation. Warmest regards, John Court

Member Spotlight

Joseph Tafuro, CPA

Getting a notice from the Internal Revenue Service or any other tax-ing jurisdiction for many of us is a very scary proposition. My goal as your CPA would be to reduce the stress of dealing with this notice and acting as your representative with the tax jurisdiction. Over my twenty years as a CPA I have worked with some of the largest inter-national accounting firms working on the behalf of some the world’s largest companies and high net worth individuals. I would then use the experience I have gather working for theses clients and apply it you your specific situation. I provide a full range of accounting and tax services for the individuals and small businesses. For the small business that can at best only afford a full time bookkeeper I would provide the over site that a controller would provide, and for the business owner trying to do the bookkeeping work themselves I would assist in setting up any of the accounting software packages and tutor the owner on its use. My goal is to take the stress out of dealing with mundane tasks of bookkeeping, managing cash flow, accounts payable and receivable and tax compliance issues so business owners can concentrate on running their business and do what they do best, and more importantly what they enjoy. Then once we get to the end of the year I would then take the accounting work that I have done through out the year and prepare the appropriate tax returns. In addition through out the year I would assist in preparing the necessary sales and payroll tax returns. It has been my experience that these two areas, sales and payroll tax, require the most attention but receive the least. They are also the areas that give the small business owner the greatest tax exposure and the penalties for not filing or filing incorrect returns are the steepest. If you would like to meet me for a free consultation and review your accounting procedures and tax returns please feel free to cal me at (516) 574-3140 or e-mail [email protected].
