Dear Prospective Buyer,

Welcome! We have lived in this home in Lake Barcroft for twelve years. The neigh-bors and neighborhood is wonderful and we have made many changes to the house…so let us tell you a little about them.

Lake Barcroft is a small active community and I think the biggest pull to this area for us was the close proximity to the lake and the location inside the beltway. There are five beaches and we are a short walking distance to Beach 3 and a little longer walk to Beach 5. Farm Hill Drive is one of the shortest streets in the neigh-borhood but the neighbors are very close knit.

We have made many improvements starting with new doors, storm windows, and replaced several of the larger windows with energy efficient glass which helped lower our gas and electric bills. The old black and red, yes black and red, kitchen was replaced with a more modern one. We have entertained many guests from this kitchen.

The yard is wonderful and easy to maintain. We decided to keep the backyard as natural looking with several paths running through the wooded lot. We added a three season porch, a large deck and stone patio…a great place for entertaining.

The original master bedroom was very small so we added on a fabulous master bedroom suite with a large sitting area, a walk-in closet, a balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning, and a modern bathroom with a soaking tub and shower for two. This addition was carefully planned to not block the view of the trees from any location in the house.

We will miss this home, our neighbors and the Barcroft community, and we hope you will enjoy the feeling of living in a forest as much as we have.
