EGNOS / OMNISTAR VBS OFFER SUB 20CM ACCURACYOmniSTAR VBS and EGNOS offer accuracy of 20cm. This means that you can comeback to the same point in your field pass after pass and be within 20cm of whereyou were before. This system is perfect for operators that simply want to get in anddrive away and is best suited to crop spraying and tillage applications whereaccuracy and repeatability are not of prime concern.
OMNISTAR G2, XP AND HP OFFER SUB 12CM ACCURACYThe entry level OmniSTAR XP is your ideal partner forhigh performance broadacre spraying and landtillage applications. The OmniSTAR G2 system isperfect for operations which rely heavily on guidanceand demand an around-the-clock uninterruptedsignal, this is guaranteed as GLONASS satellites areused in addition to GPS satellites. New Holland autoguidance solutions are compatible with a full range of guidance correction signals so that you can choose theexact level of precision that your operation requires. GPS and GLONASS signals are transmitted via a network of satellites thatorbit the Earth and land based receivers can then determine their own position in relation to these signals. However, this aloneis not accurate enough for agriculture, therefore a correction signal must also be used.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space based satellite navigation system and is part of a larger system called the GlobalNavigation Satellite System (GNSS). GNSS is a term used for all satellite constellation systems used to provide positioning data.Currently GNSS only covers GPS and GLONASS systems. GLONASS is similar to GPS and both are available worldwide. When auto guidance receivers track both GPS and GLONASS signals together, the number of 'visible' satellites is greatlyincreased which reduces the risk of losing satellite coverage for increased uptime.

HOW ARE GUIDANCE SIGNALSTRANSMITTED AND RECEIVED?New Holland offers a wide range of receivers and antennas so that you can select the model which perfectly matchesyour guidance needs. SIGNAL TRANSMISSION, RECEPTION AND COMPENSATION
NH 062 RECEIVERThis entry level antenna can be used for mapping and is fully compatible with EGNOScorrection signals.
NH 162 RECEIVERThis standard receiver can be used for yield or field mapping and is Autopilot™compatible. It can receive EGNOS correction signals and is a differential GPS receiver.It boasts a strong magnetic attachment as well as a simulated radar output.
NH 372 RECEIVER This top of the range receiver is compatible with RTK Radio Transmission, RTK VRS,OmniSTAR and Glonass correction signals to guarantee year round, and season afterseason productivity and accuracy. Its slim profile makes it perfect for all machines.
AG 715 RADIOThe integrated RTK radio is designed for use with the NH 372 receiver and built forthe agricultural environment. It is fully sealed against dust and rain. The AG 715 radioeasily mounts under the NH 372 receiver housing.
AG 15 ANTENNA This antenna is fully compatible with the EZ-Guide® 250 monitor, and when used inconjunction with EGNOS correction signals, it enables pass-to-pass accuracy of20cm and year-on-year accuracy of 90cm.

When combined with NewHolland PLM® Software package, you get enhanced harvesting performance and improved yield mapping.
HOW IT WORKS.By scanning the edge between the cut and uncut crop with a laser eye, theSmartSteer™ crop guidance system automatically guarantees the header is alwaysfull, right to the edge. How? It generates an exact line of uncut crop, this then sendssignals to the steering system to follow this precise path. The result? Operators canconcentrate on other combine functions to maintain maximum performance. The mostadvanced system is available on CX8000 and CR combines, as the operator can setthe laser scanner to detect the crop edge on either the left or right hand side courtesyof a simple in-cab control. On the CX5000 and CX6000 range, only the left hand sideof the header can be detected. As the SmartSteer™ system is fitted to the combineitself, it is fully compatible with all types of header, offering you ultimate accuracy withoperational flexibility as standard.

MAIZE HEADERS SOLUTIONMaize headers can be specified with row guidance to keep the combine or forage harvester perfectly oncourse. Two sensors continuously monitor the position of the crop entering the header, and automatically guidethe machine to ensure true perpendicular entry even in poor visibility or at high speeds. The system can alsobe linked to a GPS positioning system, which can distinguish between cut and uncut rows, to facilitate night-time harvesting and advanced harvesting activities such as skip row functionality.

NH 372 ReceiverThe New Holland 372 antenna receives both DGPS andGLONASS signals to guide the vehicle. This antennacan easily be transferred from tractor to tractor or evento your combine or forager. For RTK applications a slimprofile radio mounts underneath the receiver.
• New Holland Vehicle InterfaceReceives navigation commandsfrom the Navigation Controller IIwhich control the vehicle’ssteering when engaged.
A COMPLETE GUIDANCE PACKAGE You can order your machine with either IntelliSteer as a factory installed option, orsimply with an IntelliSteer® ready package. FIELD-IQ™ CROP INPUT CONTROL SYSTEMS The Field-IQ™ crop input control system is a section and variable rate application control system thatprevents seed and fertiliser overlap, controls the rate of material applications and monitors seeddelivery or eventual fertiliser blockages. The Field-IQ system runs on both the FM-750 display and FM-1000 monitor. Field-IQ automatic section control eliminates double applications and wasted inputsby automatically shutting off rows or sections in areas which have already been covered, or that donot require application. For the most accurate readings, sensor calibration is requiredfor each different crop type.
FORAGE HARVESTER MOISTURE SENSINGThe new, resistive type moisture sensing system has been calibrated for both maize andgrass crops, and provides the operator with both a real-time and an average moisturereading on the in-cab IntelliView™ monitor.
BALER MOISTURE SENSINGIt is imperative to record bale moisture, as an over-wet crop will spoil and be useless. The BigBaler moisture sensor uses two star wheels to penetrate the bale and an electriccurrent is passed through to determine the exact moisture of the bale. This is thendisplayed on the IntelliView™ monitor which prevents unready crop from being baled,and enables the precise application of additive.
PRECISE ADDITIVE APPLICATIONAll forage harvesters and BigBalers are equipped with precise additive applicationsystems which interface with the on-board moisture sensors to deliver the preciseamount of crop additive to guarantee quality.
COMBINE YIELD MAPPINGThe exclusive patented, high accuracy yield sensor developed by New Holland isgenerally recognised as the best in class. Its design neutralises the rubbing effect ofgrain. Whatever the kind, the variety or the moisture content of the kernel, the sensorgenerates an extremely accurate yield measurement. If that wasn’t enough, once youhave initially calibrated your sensor at the beginning of the season, no further interventionis required.
FORAGE HARVESTER YIELD MAPPINGPrecise yield data is also displayed on the IntelliView™ monitor, thanks to sensors thatare located in the feed roll linkage which analyses crop throughput; this is combined withthe machine’s forward speed to give accurate yield information. This data can be printedout on the on board job printer.
ON THE GO ACTIVEWEIGH™ SYSTEMBale weighing sensors are integrated into the bale discharge chute of the BigBaler andregister the weight of the bale at the point at which it becomes free from the chute, justbefore it drops to the ground. The ActiveWeigh™ system is independent of bale length,field conditions and baler movement. All information, including single bale weight, averageweight, total weight and tonnes per hour are all displayed on the IntelliView™ monitor.Furthermore, this all happens while you continue to pick-up for non-stop baling. If thatwasn’t enough, a 2% accuracy level means you’ll produce the bales precisely as required.
IDENTIFY EACH AND EVERY BALE WITH CROP IDThe Crop ID™ system records information in real time about every bale. As the balepasses through the chamber, an empty radio frequency ID tag is applied, and when itexits the chamber, and passes off the chute, the information recorded by the Crop ID™Precision Information Processor, including bale weight, moisture content, date and timeand its GPS location, are transferred onto the tag. An infrared scanner can be used toread the tag and to ensure the correct bale is selected for every situation.
THE CLEAR PATH FOR SUCCESS*Row tracing technology uses guidance corrections signalsand a machine mounted antenna to ensure that each andevery row is covered just once.
