TRUE DIFFERENTIALS FRONT AND REAR Limited-slip front differential allows great traction with low steering effort. Dual-mode rear differential provides maximum traction when in locked mode and minimises ground disturbance when unlocked.

TRANSFORMABLE The Trans 4x4 MULEs can be easily transformed from four-person to two person mode in a few minutes. Rear seat folds down at the touch of a button to maximise cargo space.

POWER STEERINGThe electric power steering (EPS) system works best when you need it most: at extremely slow speeds and when stopped. Turning the wheel causes a signal to be sent to the EPS ECU (Electronic Control Unit), initiating assistance. The ECU uses input from a vehicle speed sensor and torque sensor to determine the amount of steering assistance required from the system’s electric motor. At slow speeds or when stopped, assistance is greatest; assistance is reduced as vehicle speed increases to ensure stable handling.

OCCUPANT SAFETY Kawasaki Mules feature a strong chassis and approved roll over protection. Seat belts are standard equipment. A low centre of gravity and wide track means the Mule is more stable and less prone to roll over situations if an operator does make a mistake.

SPORTY CHASSIS DESIGNTo harness the full potential of its mighty V-Twin engine, the Teryx features a stable wide-body chassis and mid-engine layout. The rugged Double-X frame is give a wide track and offers excellent off-road performance and stability.

LARGE 26” MAXXIS TYRESThe Teryx sports the large diameter tyres Its 12” rims and 26” MAXXIS Bighorn 2.0 tyres, more easily able to overcome obstacles than smaller tyres, contribute to its excellent rough road handling.

IMPROVED FUEL CONSUMPTIONSince the engine generates greater power and torque at lower rpm, it is not necessary to open the throttle as much. This leads to a significant improvement in fuel consumption.

ACCELERATION CONTROL + STABLE ENGINE BRAKINGComplementing the direct engine feel and quick response inherent with its V-Twin engine character-CVT combination (ideal for hard riding), the new Teryx’s centrifugal clutch is the key to its superior acceleration control at slow and very slow speeds. By eliminating the shock of the CVT belt engaging, the centrifugal clutch facilitates precise throttle control when navigating rock gardens or other tricky terrain. CVT and transmission ratios were selected to offer optimum ride feel while ensuring stable engine braking characteristics. The engine braking offers reassuring support when rolling down steep inclines.

TILTING REAR DECKThe Teryx’s suspension settings were decided based on the design aim to offer a comfortable, stable ride, while ensuring controlled riding right up to the vehicle’s maximum speed. Combined with the wide-track chassis and mid-engine layout, the high-performance FOX suspension – designed specifically for the Teryx – enables sure-footed handling in rough terrain, superb cornering performance, and enhanced ride comfort and high-speed stability.

POWERFUL V-TWIN ENGINE The easy-to-control character of the engine accommodates a wide range of users. Powerful, liquid-cooled, 783 cc, SOHC, 4-valve-per-cylinder fuel injected V-Twin engine churns out a substantial 43 kW (58 PS) – an increase of 26% over its 750cc predecessor.
