The AHCSS00030 Farm Business Management Skill Set involves completion of four competencies, for which you will receive a Statement of Attainment:

AHCBUS506 Develop and review a business plan Set strategic goals and directions for the enterprise, determine measurable indicators of operational performance, identify and design risk management strategies, develop operational plans, and monitor the business plan to identify strengths and weaknesses.

AHCBUS507 Monitor and review business performance Gather and analyse data relating performance, review operations to determine effectiveness, identify resources to assess capacity, develop realistic performance indicators, review operations against performance indicators, and plan to improve business performance.

BSBRSK501 Manage risk Manage risks in a range of contexts across the organisation or for a specific business unit or area.

AHCBUS509 Develop and implement business structures and relationships This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement business structures and relationships. It applies to those who participate in the establishment of a primary production business and communicate the roles and responsibilities of family members within such a business.
