You will need :

1.Put the chickpea flour in

the bowl and pour the water, a little bit at a time. Stir with a

wooden spoon until smooth.

3.Leave the batter/mixture

to stand at room temperature for 2 hours.

5. Put it in the oven at

180°C for 30 minutes. The pizza is ready when the top is crusty. Then, take it out.

2. Add little salt, taste and

add more if necessary.

4.Put the oil in the baking

tin. Stir the batter once more, pour it into the baking

tin and mix it well.

6. Sprinkle some ground

pepper. Cut it into squares and serve it hot.

Tip:

The chickpea pizza should be no more than 1 cm thick.

The chickpeas (Cicer arietinum) are legumes of the family Fabaceae.

They are good for us and taste delicious. The recipe is a typical dish from Genoa. It became popular in Sardinia during the Middle

Ages due to the historical ties with Genoa. The Dorias were a noble family from Genoa who ruled Sardinia in that time.
