Technical, Socio-culture, Economic and Political condition of

    Pharping hydro-power station.

1.Socio-culture Impacts: Communities around this Pharping hydropower station are not of

    same caste, culture and religious.

Brahman, Chhetri thinks that they are the senior one and they areonly the responsible for care taking the station although Newari

    population is more.

Different cultures are celebrated in the community on the base ofcaste, so no involvement of unity for development work in the

    concept of religious view.

Hence, we can say that society culture may affect the developmentwork unless and until they get awareness about the cultural and

    religious importance.

2.Economic Impacts: Maximum people living around this power station depend on

    agriculture.

So community income source is in agriculture. Some people are land lord and some are land less and people who

have no land obviously are poor then they cannot show as well as

participant in attitude that of land lord people, hence their voice is

    in behind.

Due to unequal economic source people living in this community, they have conflict.

This is also one of the main reasons; that they dont have unity inthe development work.

Else if this hydropower station produces electricity, people livingin this region get easily job so, that reduces the way of youth

    jobless situation.

Production of electricity creates environment of factory, mills andindustries within the community resulting the no economic crisis

and works are easily solved; less manpower and less time.

Hence community lifestyle will be high as they have their ownschools, hospitals and communication centers within the

    community.

3.Political Impacts: According to the people of that region, those are elected as leader

will give no care in future after the election.

Elected leader didnt visit that region after the completion ofelection, forgot the patriotism.

We realize that leader should be of that region himself or herselfwho knows the problem about communities as well as required

essential materials for that region for further promotion itself. We have seen, if the elected political leader had done the hard

decision about this hydro power station, this power station may not

    close at this instant.
