Install the new Installer 4.xx downloaded from the coresystems website 4. Start coresuite 5. Go to coresuite Administration and press "Download Update" and download all m odules 6. Import all downloaded modules having version 4.xx 7. Restart coresuite Addon COMPATIBILITY WITH OLD AddOns NOTE: Old AddOns compiled with .NET Framework 3.5 might not be working anymore. It is necessary to recompile those AddOns using the new version. Before upgradin g your Productive system to the new version please ensure that all your custom A ddOns are compatible. WHY IS THIS UPGRADE PROCEDURE DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS? In coresuite rev. 4.00 all our modules have been recompiled against .NET Framewo rk 4.0. All previous releases 3.xx have been compiled against .NET Framework 3.5 SP01. When you install the new framework the existing installer 3.xx tries to load and start a framework compiled with a more recent version of the .NET Framework. Th is is causing the crash as .NET Framework 3.5 is not "forward compatible".
