Question I cannot find the Revit Families that I used to download from axis.com / A&E Media. Where do I find them? Answer By the launch of Axis plugin for Autodesk Revit, families are now incorporated into the plugin and will be available directly through the interface. Hence, the removal of the old individual families. Question The FOV representation does not look as I expended / as it used to, why is that? Answer We have two new features affecting the representation of FOV. 1. Support for Corridor Format. In the initial release of the plugin, this feature is activated by default. This feature can be toggled on/off in the camera properties.

2. Implementing true graphical representation of the Field of View/PPF-PPM from the camera.

Question Why does my product icon have a blue (i) dot next to the image? Answer This indicates that the device has not been downloaded to the local folder (or is newly added). If you are connected to the internet, this will not affect your ability to use this model as it will immediately download from Axis servers and be available for use.

Question I have selected a camera which I would like to add to my project, but the place button is greyed out. Why is that? Answer It’s most likely caused by having multiple devices selected, so please use “Clear all filters” and try again, see Getting-started guide for more info. Question How do I know when new or updated models are available? Answer As long as you are regularly connecting to internet, models will be updated automatically.
