Over the past decade, the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl has more than made a name for itself in the Tampa Bay area.
A December holiday tradition for both local families and out of town visitors, the Bowl takes its pirate theme to new heights this year. Each year, a week jam-packed with family fun and community events culminates in a premier postseason matchup on the gridiron at Raymond James Stadium.

The Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl is proud to partner with some of Tampa Bay’s most generous charities.Founded by Thaddeus Bullard (better known as WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil), the Bullard Family Foundation works to provide children and their families with special moments, programs, and resources to build personal character and improve outcomes in the community.
The Foundation aims to create a sense of love and empowerment so that children and their families can experience the greatness that lies within themselves. The charity’s main event, Joy of Giving, unites the Tampa Bay community and uplifts the vulnerable by organizing a day of Christmas cheer, food, gifts, and access to life-changing resources for underserved families.

WHO WE AREInspired by the Legend of Pirate Jose Gaspar, Ye Mystic Krew of Gasparilla was founded in 1904 as an organization dedicated to enriching the vitality and imagination of Tampa and its surrounding community.
TOURISM IMPACTThe YMKG Invasion & Parade of Pirates ranks as the third largest parade in the United States, attracting half a million attendees annually and generating over $22 million in economic impact. The YMKG Children’s Parade is the largest of its kind in the United States, offering a family-friendly,non-alcoholic venue for over 250,000 annual attendees.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & CULTURAL ENRICHMENTThrough special appearances, Krewe members (of the YMKG-established Inter-Krewe Council) participate in events to promote the Bay Area community. Krewe members—decked in pirate attire—regularly visit hospitals, assisted living centers, and schools, engaging the community inthe spirit and fun of Gasparilla events.
Over the past two decades, the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla Community Fund has awarded $840,000 in 4-year college scholarships to high school seniors graduating from Hillsborough County schools. Every year, YMKG partners with the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Defense to sponsor the YMKG Invasion and Parade, which provides entertainment to millions of people from all over the world.

OF GASPARILLA
A Tampa-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, onbikes formed inTampa in 2011.
The organization was born after a group of friends planned a community bike ride during the holiday season that would raise enough funds for at-risk children to receive their first bike. A beloved organization within the non-profit community, onbikes is doing their part in restoring the self-confidence, health, and overall well-being of at-risk kids in the Tampa community.
Leading up to game day, the two competing teams (and a few pirates) work together to accomplish something bigger than the Bowl—the chance to build 100 bikes in one hour for local, underserved children.

Throughout game week, both teams get involved in the Tampa Bay community by working with local charities such as onbikes.

Sponsorship Committee Focusing on the Tampa Bay community, the Sponsorship Committee will aim to bring 10,000 underserved kids joy this holiday season. Through sponsorship funds, these children will participate in the Bullard Family Foundation’s Joy of Giving event, as well as the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl.
